4-1 great individual goal by Hurst
If that goal had been scored on a school playground you'd be seething. Can't fault the player for scoring but our midfield and defence need shooting for that.

Watched on iFollow and I think I might be the only Crawley fan to think that was a penalty. Stuck his hand out to prevent the ball coming back across goal.

Every game that Conroy, Francomb and Lynch miss through injury the better they appear. Dropping Francillette seems to have been a mistake and subbing off Chucky when he was the only strength we had up front looked an error but he had to try something.

How shit must Stockport be to lose to us?

Thought we did everything but score that second half, the better of two bad sides, Gillingham are horrendous, truly rotten side, gives me hope that they’ll be one of the ones below us this season.

Shit ref alert gone our way. Khan on a yellow judged to have fouled Glennon, on first viewing it wasn't even a foul.
I was pissed with Khan when I saw it. Just went in late which is silly on a yellow. Thankfully it didn't cost us the points.

Now 9 unbeaten since opening day with three wins on the bounce.

Northampton home next week should be interesting.

1-1 between two really poor teams.

From a Carlisle point of view, great point as it was a diabolical performance. Had a go at the end but more performances like that won’t end our dismal winless run away from home.
on the plus side we've actually gone up a place in the table

If and it’s a big fucking if
we can win on Tuesday, it’s a good start to the season.

But we will have to massively improve on todays performance to do that. Big ask with the players we have missing.

I thought Gillingham did well defensively and their keeper made a couple of great saves but they had nothing at all in attack.

Should've won and I'm not happy we haven't. If ever there was a winnable home game it was this one. What were we doing taking Umerah off after 50 mins?

The malaise has crept in to Shelton and Ferguson, the latter was woeful. Also please never pick that Hamilton, he is hopeless, send him back.

Not happy at all really, yeah we should've won but we didn't, just shelling points everywhere. Gonna be a real struggle.

We should have put the game to bed before halftime. Wimbledon were there for the absolute taking today. I thought we'd come out in the second half and score another couple, but not sure what Hughes has said to them at halftime. The second half was probably our worst half of the season for me. Dion shouldn't be starting when he's clearly not match fit and those on Twitter shouting for Hendrie to come in instead of Halliday should be quiet from now on. Really, really disappointed in the team and Hughes today. It's another shit performance where we've picked up a point. Our luck will run out if we don't up the performances, especially when we actually come up against a team with quality. We got lucky today.

Don’t get the criticism Halliday has got so far, not a world beater but he’s steady in a position we’ve been crap in for yours Hendrie as part of that.

As you say crap second half, hope they watch it back and learn how not to play, 2 points well and truly thrown away and we were lucky it wasn’t 3.

Haven't seen it again but looked to me like Glennon slid in and won the ball and then khan tripped over him.

You looked well organised and tidy on the ball, either we was on an off day or you forced mistakes in us, but still thought we could have at least got a point so not too disheartened. Considering where we have come I think we are going to be a solid top half side, which id have taken at the start of the season

My lads analysis on the game:

Swindon a good team and deserved to win but they’re a bunch of c***.

Apparently they shushed the Ponny for both goals despite getting no abuse all game and then celebrated in front of the Ponny at full time goading our fans.

Also said we created next to nothing against 10 men until injury time when we should’ve scored about 4 times.

Curle will make you hard to beat. That’s what he did when he inherited the mess here and at Northampton.

It will be ugly, not pretty, quite often really difficult to watch, but he’ll do what he has to do until he can get some players in to replace some of the shit the previous manager left him.

I reckon he will get you out of it.

Disagree on the good defensive display, thought they were incredibly lucky at the back, a lot of poor decision making mostly from McDonald, who in good spaces always manages to make the worst decision with the ball, his biggest obstacle is himself, especially in the second half, how that triangle passing, one touch football move never finished with a goal I’ll never know.

Murray, Cooke, Hamilton I’d get shot of all three, Cooke looked like a barrel when he trundled on today, complete out of shape, seen lads on the rec in better knick.

I think there’s plenty for Curle to work with but he’s not a wizard, Hartley has lumbered us with this dross till at least January, just gotta stick with it till then.

Halliday is much better than Hendrie IMO, especially going forward. No ill towards the lad, but I genuinely am astonished we gave him a new deal.

Need to up our performance against bogey side Harrogate next week. Lose that and I'll go from disappointed to pissed off.

Orient fans seem to be praising us way more than we deserve - after half an hour we were shit. Too many off days and we created probably 10 chances that either ended up with a sliced shot or a poor final ball.

Ref was terrible, missing so many obvious shoves and even a blatant handball for an Orient penalty - he kind of let it get to the point where Kay and Archibald were basically just grappling. Kay's either thick as fuck or just a knobhead - his one good game in six isn't enough, he needs gone.

Orient the best team I've seen so far this season, mainly because they figured out how to keep Whitfield quiet. He had his worst game so far (but curiously voted man of the match).

Mansfield turned it around with two late goals probably deserved from what I gather although I only watched about 10 minutes so I cannot comment myself at this point.

Basically we had loads of crosses but nobody on the end of them until we played Oli Hawkins in his proper position and he wins the game via getting his head on the end of a cross - weird that innit.

Had ifollow today for our game with Pools and it was close on to being the worst game of football I’ve ever seen, Hartlepool were bad but we managed to be even worse. Zero creativity anywhere and we finish September with just the one goal to our name (same as we did in August) against the leakiest defence in the league.

An awful game between two very poor teams. Gillingham are utterly shite and apart from moments in second half we weren’t much better.

If we aren’t winning games like that at home then it’s worrying.

Hamilton is a waste of oxygen and is be fucking him off at the first possible opportunity

Late win vs Harrogate today but fully deserved. Harrogate had the better of the early exchanges but were second best thereafter.

Sweeney made an error inside the opening 15 minutes which gifted Harrogate an opening, fortunately Ashby-Hammond was equal to the effort and kept it at 0-0. We grew into the game as the first half wore on, Gilbey went close when he capitalised on some sloppy Harrogate play but was denied by the keeper, we then had a double chance well saved by their keeper to deny Rose and then Taylor.

Having ended the first half well, the second half was a pretty drab affair, all changed when Evans made a quadruple substitution just passed the hour mark. We were a lot better from this point, Piergianni hit the post, as did Danny Rose, that effort was then turned on to the crossbar by their defender and bounced down onto the line, somehow not going in. Reid and Rose forced corners with efforts, Sweeney had an effort well saved before Piergianni poked the rebound over the bar. Sweeney again at the centre of things, was guilty of letting probably our best opening slip past him but he made no mistake in stoppage time to put us in front. Was a great delivery by Gilbey, and Sweeney, still up from the previous set piece was on hand to power home his header to give us a thoroughly deserved lead and win.

Really positive to bounce back from last weeks disappointing loss to Bradford with wins vs Wycombe in midweek and then Harrogate today.

I have just arrived home and pleased to see we managed to put in another encouraging performance, especially without Tom James and Adam Thompson who are our right backs, Jordan Brown showing his versatility in covering there again.

We have Northampton and Nerdford coming in October where we will see again just how far we can go.

I dunno, they put some good blocks in particularly the bloke on the line who saw McDonald curling that one in before half time. A better side would've beaten them easy, agree on the decision making.

He's not a wizard but that was the kind of game we had to take 3 points off. Really tough trip to Mansfield next as well.

We’ve lost against probably 2 of the eventual top 3 this season, no shame in that.

However, there are obvious weak links in our side that keep being allowed to start, Kiernan and Efete are absolutely shite, Cropper and JMD really need to come in ASAP.

Funny that because our best play in the first half came down the right through them too. Glennon was the weak link at left back today, Swindon exposed him defensively. Shame Amos wasn't on the bench because he could have come on and pushed Glennon to left wing.

I've reacted to a Donny fan but I really don't know what to make of our performance today.

From normally being tight at the back we went to wide open. The second half Donny could have scored at almost anytime if they'd bothered to attack. There were holes everywhere!

Our attack seemed to be miles apart from each other or standing on each others toes. We scored one and had two other decent chances to score but honestly more from bumbling through than any clear plan.

Never called for a manager to go but lose next week at home to Stevenage and it becomes hard to defend him.

Your right, it was a must win for both and it's the first time I've come away from Pools this season feeling aggrieved that we've dropped points, other games have just been a dull acceptance of the result, positives are we didn't concede and at no point did we ever look like we were gonna, even with Calamity Murray trying his best and we've took it to them in the second half and gave it good go unlike anything I've seen from a Pools side this season.

There are positives, the fitness seemed better today and Curle is right to point out we finished on top for the first time this season. That is a plus, there was plenty effort there just we are well short of quality.

That said I've lost count how many games we haven't won in now (18?) and it's worrying that whenever we have played a side around us we haven't managed to win despite having the better of games. Against good teams the wheels come off but hopefully that might stop under Curle. It has to because you can't trust us to put away the bottom feeders.

Just gotta hold your nose until the end of January where hopefully we're a few signings better off and not too far adrift.
