Just watched the highlights. Neither player shushed your lot after they scored. And seeing as our keeper had just made 2 fantastic saves before the ref blew for full time its no surprise our players celebrated with him - we were defending the goal at your end.
Macdonald did shush their fans behind the goal at the final whistle

Not great today, draw a fair result. Entirely self inflicted after a great start.

Got to laugh at the Wimbledon fans getting hurt over Gilliead screaming in the face of one of their youngsters after he'd been rolling around for the past ten minutes. He even celebrated winning a throw in at one point. Don't give it if you can't take it lad.

Wimbledon's last 10 minutes tactics of feigning injuries 2 players at a time and blatant time wasting backfired on then big style conceding in the 5th minute of feigned injury time. Must be lack of confidence on their part given their poor run of form, as they were the better team in the second half and they should have continued doing what they had been doing the previous 35 minutes of that second half. Very poor management from their manager and players

Well worth the eight hour round trip for the Fish & Chip lunch at Papas alone. The performance and three points a welcome addition. Generally acknowledged that our first half performance was our best of the season without, I might add, two of the divisions best midfielders in Reed & Williams. Looks like both will hopefully be back for next Saturday. Khan's bookings whilst debatable from our end were a bit more inconclusive from the extended highlights so probably fair enough. Four of our next five at home. Eleven points should see us in the top 5 and I will state here and now that we will be top 3 come the end of the season

You can see McDonald has quality and he did waste a number of good positions but until January at least we are relying on him as a goal threat and creator. Ferguson has been dreadful all season but Brody Paterson is not a viable pick over him. He either needs a bollocking or a pep talk because we badly miss his impact on the left.

Tumilty has been much better recently, was good against Crewe and yesterday at times as well. He's fine as a back up and can give some competition for Sterry who again hasn't been at his best.

I noticed we went 523 yesterday suggesting Curle doesn't think we have enough in the middle to control games. I'm expecting us to become very direct and not worry about possession. Is that the way to go? Featherstone would struggle big time in Curleball.

Dunno what's happened to Sterry, lack of a pre season maybe caught up to him and he's suffering with injuries, I'd stick with Tumilty for now, after his horror show at Walsall he's improved game on game for me, perfect delivery yesterday for Ndjoli, no trying to beat his man or fancy step overs, just pinged it right onto his dome.

Curle just needs to stick to what he knows and pick the best players for it, no point in us being a good footballing side and having nowt to show for it.

Tumilty has definitely stepped up the last couple of games and will be a decent back up to Sterry once he’s sorted his injuries out.

Ferguson needs to get his act together though because Patterson is woeful and
Is one of the PH signings I’d get shot of asap

I thought we deserved the win yesterday.

The switch to a back four and arrival of Simeu has resulted in an upturn in our fortunes. We are very difficult to break down and the youngsters in the side now believe we can get results and are playing for ninety minutes, rather than forty five or sixty.

The return of Kieran Morris - the best creative player in the division in my view - is also massive for us.

Three victories in a week. Great stuff.

Steady on.
Conroy, at Swindon last season. Play off (or very close). Not the very best but good enough for sure.

Lynch, Championship defender, had a horrendous injury while at Sunderland. Local to Crawley and came to regain fitness. Enjoyed himself so decided to stick around.

Omole, young lad from Tottenham. Looks very good. He will have a decent career.

I am quite good in calling defenders. Not bad at attackers. It's the midfielders I struggle with.

Also any gillingham fans… what diet has that Macdonald been on who came on in second half? Made some of our lot look relatively fit

I think that's right. After the first 10 minutes when I thought we'd get roasted, for the first time this season we really tried to take the game to the opposition and that was borne out by the stats in terms of chances. Lots of bright signs that a corner is at least visible, if not quite yet turned. Our "game management" is awful though and cost us. Sitting back and inviting pressure was only going to end one way.

Made needlessly hard work of the game against crewe that we dominated from start to finish, it was almost laughable when crewe went a goal up, though what was in fairness a neat move got the goal having rattled the post a minute earlier.

The reality is we need some pace and some creativity uptop, we should have danced into the distance with the win long before crewe scored, we can’t afford to be so wasteful moving forward

Considering we lost our first three away games to go to Donny, Gillingham and Crewe and get 9 points is a great turnaround.

Yeah Tumilty has improved vastly since Walsall.
We looked a lot better also when Odour came on,but the less said about Hamilton, the better.
At least we aren't cut adrift, yet.

very much so, though in fairness we scored the goals when we actually had an out and out forward on the pitch.

Not necessarily saying to drop akins, but we’re desperately short of pace, as we were last term, swan starting or a faster AM would be great

Not many sides will win at donny crewe and gillingham.

Happy with 19 from the opening 10 games, especially having played 6 away. When you consider the home games have also including tranmere, wimbledon and stockport, we’ve done alright

Cya!

Just stinks of a Gibson situation. The lads Young - his career isn’t gonna be made overnight.

He talks about aspirations of playing premier league football. I think he ought to count himself lucky that he’s where he is - playing for who he is. If he wants to go back, toodle-pip!

Speaking of Gibson’s dad. He’s been demanding the BBC Cumbria commentator is binned for criticising Carlisle United players (his son) during matches.

He is a tosspot of the highest order that bloke. Problem for Jordon when he was here was it was himself that then took all the flak from our fans as a result. I suspect the same will happen with Harratt if his dad continues with his social media nonsense.

Why dad's like them have to embarrass their sons like that is beyond me.

Because they are trying to live their perceived failed lives through their children

He said it was after the huddle for both goals the same guy (the one who scored the second) turned to the Ponny and shushed them.
I’m not moaning by the way as it happens all the time, McAtee does it religiously.

While I think we deserved the win, if Maddox converts that chance early in added time, it’s a different story. There are worse teams than Walsall in this league. Thanks for releasing Morris, been one of our best players over the recent years and gradually coming back from injury
