This ref is being a homer bellend. Tiniest bit of contact and it's a free kick to Orient.

Orient on top so far, and not just because of the ref.

Orient 0-1 Rovers. Scrappy, suspicions of offside, and well against the run of play, but I'm not whinging!

Van Veen misses a 1 on 1, this team is cursed the minute they fall behind

Finishes 2-0 at Crawley.

Exeter made the mistake of playing tippy tappy football against us. We can cope with that. It's when the opposition use strong players we have problems.

Sending off and penalty were harsh but both correct. Watched the foul again and I feel a bit for the Exeter player who got sent off. Over the top but not by much. The defender for the penalty needs a rocket from his team mates. Not the sharpest pencil in the box.

Nichols scores after missing two penalties. If the keeper had gone the right way it may have been different. Nadesan gets a goal from the goal line. With his wayward shooting lately about the only place he could score from.

Sun comes out and we look better.

Fair assessment, I suspect the reactions of the Crawley players helped in the sending off. We aren't getting the benefit of decisions at the moment.
But we were never going to win that game. I understand needing to make changes when you're playing twice a week but I wouldn't change the formation as well and Fisher is not the answer.
Big games coming up at home, one more without Bowman and now without Parkes and possibly Sweeney, but we should still look to win them both if we bring in Randall and Key from the start

We’ve started pretty well but seen this before with Vale where we quickly run out of ideas after looking good early. Cambridge look a little vulnerable at the back.

Not many teams dominate posession against us like Orient are doing. This'll be a smash and grab if we manage to hold on.

I'm so bored of seeing orient not score and let in soft goals.
I make that 1 goal in approximately 580 minutes of league football.
Yawn.

And Cheltenham get a 2nd against the run of play

If it wasn't already somehow game over it's fully gone now

Congrats Cheltenham

And another 1 on 1 miss

I swear the ball will just refuse to go into the net the minute we fall behind

What a shite game.
Another straight red card for a nothing challenge, give away a penalty.

Crawley were crap but we decided to gift them the three points for some reason. Absolute dross from city.

We're getting battered in every aspect except the scoreline. Orient look very good except in front of goal, and they're dominating posession and passing nicely.

The ref is giving a free kick for every bit of contact, so I wouldn't be surprised if the trajectory of this game is changed by a dodgy penalty or free kick.

Thoroughly outclassed once again.

Despite this, Cheltenham have only really had two chances and scored them both. We've had 3 1 on 1s and missed all three which just sums us up.

We are well and truly back in the relegation battle.

Hardly been in the Orient half. Orient’s passing and movement excellent.

Looking comfortable without causing them many problems then they nearly score....should have scored with the best chance of the half.

We can/will improve.....can Barrow keep this tempo up

Were getting dominated, got nobody in midfield putting their foot on the ball and no one up front to hold it up.

Lucky to not be three or four down already

Orient look solid but they haven’t threatened a great deal for all the possession they’ve had. Next goal crucial because if it’s ours then can see that being the game done.

Be an interesting second half. Orient will come up higher looking for that equaliser and can see us exploiting that with the pace we have in attack.

Another boring performance from ourselves, pissing around with the ball and zero goal threat. A few half chances here and there and not bothered Scott Davies at all.

Hill's done this sort of thing before against us, he does his home work. I expect Tranmere to have a go at some point and probably get the second goal.

Embleton is pushing his luck now, 1 goal in 6 games and on a dreadful run of form - the writing is slowly being written on the wall for him.

Signed Bass from Pompey on 7 day loan as Oxley was injured.

Goalless at half time. Not great to watch albeit Vale looked better than on Tuesday. Will take it though.

Guthrie getting caught in two minds on when through on goal if you’re a striker you just cannot do that. Jake Taylor been much improved from midweek on a happy note.

Played alright but really should be ahead and will come to rue that miss.

Guthrie has to slot that away; if it’s Rodney it’s 1-0.

Keeping Cambridge at arms length so far and having a few probing chances ourselves.

Cant afford a slow second half that’s been the theme of recent weeks though.

Imagine if he squares it Rodney has a tap in, Cambridge players were all 30 yards back. Shame their defender when he dived in didn’t catch Guthrie as we’d be playing 10 men now which would have been a better outcome.
