We've looked the better team by a mile. Have Wilson or Harrison on and we'd be comfortably ahead.

Yeah look like we are just lacking a finisher… which with no strikers is no surprise!

I could sit here for hours and moan about the things we do wrong and how poor we are defensively, but I just can’t be arsed - this side bores me to tears.

Don’t want to do Bolton an injustice either who were much the better side even without the help they got from us.

Definite new manager bounce, Salop look tidy but we settled after a daft early card for Dokes' high boot and grew into it, Garrick scoring a belter cutting back inside. Not sure we'll keep a clean sheet but we've done some other good stuff going forward, bakayoko much improved too, and only need another couple to come off.

Burton, FGR and Morecambe all winning… MK Dons could be in serious trouble here… always expected them to play their way out of it at some point this season but it’s not looking great.

Two points dropped similar to the home game there, Wilson and or Harrison are fit we win that comfortably but it stops the losing streak and another point on the board.

You’d take a point I guess. If we had more of a focal point up top we’d have won but if my aunt had a pair of bollocks…

Really like the new lad Donnelly. Very composed performance for a 19 year old. If I was Dan Jones I wouldn’t be expecting a spot in the team any time soon. Nice to see Proctor get a few minutes, been too long.

Great result for us. By all accounts lucky to get the penalty but Jev finished well and MK missed a hatful.

We might just stay up

I'm going to say it, i reckon we're going down.

I'm normally the most optimistic of people, but i'm now trying to find excuses not to go. We are absolutely clueless, despite being unbesten at home in February, we have not progressed and it is so un inspiring. We cannot score to save our lives.

Credit to the numbers Cambridge bought, just over 800, best they've bought in a long time, but my god that was two poor teams.

The problem this season is there are no dreadful teams, i appreciate we are hard to beat. But look at Morecambe, they're putting a lovely run of wins together at home.

Bloody football!

Well there goes the new manager bounce. Don’t want to look at the table, I doubt it makes pretty reading.

Jesus. We won. Can’t believe it.
And Oxford too. Never beat them.
They really are bad. Surely the bin dipper will get the sack now.

You look a decent side, just lacking the killer touch. We were absolutely dreadful until we finally started to have a go in the last 10 minutes.

Stonewall penalty not given for us at the end mind, but a point was more than we deserved anyway.

I dunno, if you can keep up your form of being sexy draw specialists that in itself should be enough to stay up. You don't need to be good to stay up, you just need not to be consistently dismal.

Yep.

It takes some doing. All that was required this summer was a few minor alterations, 5-6 additions.

Instead we have a manager that increased our wage bill substantially (the biggest in our history and top four in League One) and took a play-off quality squad to one which frankly is only going to avoid relegation because there’s a handful of teams more inept than us.

You can see why Burton struggle. They just aren’t very good. Yet, it was a comfortable win for them. Even more alarming is that Karl Robinson won’t be sacked. He should have gone in October.

Sigh.

Aye it looked like Benning got away with that one. I thought it was a pen for sure.

I’d say that’s a fair assessment on us. In most games we’ve played we’ve done a lot of stuff that makes you think we’re alright but then rarely do we make it count. Think Funso Ojo for us was probably the best player on the pitch, things just seem to tick over better in our approach play with him in our team.

Even if we stay up, people are going to be voting with their feet. Theres no enthusiasm on the pitch and energy is completely sapped from the ground. Boos very very visible at the end of the game.

I dont expect to be world beaters, just want passion and determination. That god i can't do the next home game.

Good for you. I stand by what I said, the guy is a liability and has the turning circle of the Titanic. If you think that's good then all the best.

We were the better side throughout, bar 5 minutes at the end, except as easily predicted we had nobody to stick it in the net. Even just one recognised striker would have meant we win that today.

We look better than probably 8-10 in this league and as with today tend to dominate possession and chances but not quite good enough to beat the teams above us consistently. To really push towards the playoffs we needed our best team to be available more often than not. It's just not happened consistently enough.

Bolton looked superb from what I saw.
That’s almost a compliment mate. Might be too little too late this season but we do like a second half of the season run in! I think we are good enough to be making the playoffs though this season. But it’s far from done. Away at Wycombe and Peterborough coming up are big games.
