Another winnable game with our mish mash of a team.............Struggled to beat Fleetwood reserves in the pie/peas cup.

Would take a point at Pompey with the form they’re in. Very hopeful we’ll have a couple of defenders back.

Well there's an honest man ! The reports all said how well Fleetwood's academy players had done, tbh I'd settle for a good result against you next Tuesday !

Fleetwood certainly didn’t help themselves with a crazy tackle leading to a red card .

Hope you are well personally .

After the slating Duff gave the team yesterday, hopefully there will be a bit of a backlash against Cambridge on Tuesday night.

We could really do with getting something against you tomorrow night as our next three are Charlton (a), Rotherham (h) and Wycombe (a). Could easily get dragged into the relegation fight unless we can get some points from somewhere soon.

Our next three are Crewe (a), Cheltenham (a) and Doncaster (h), so if we're going to pull around this form then now is the time to start, albeit I'm not holding my breath.

We're not not scoring goals because of lack of finishing, we're not creating full stop and that's due a mix of a) having a terribly poor front three who aren't really very good at anything and b) a midfield who would struggle to create anything even if the front three were half decent. Chris Maguire must be looking at the options he has in forward areas and wonder what the hell is going on.

But alas, we're stuck with the current crop until January, and the only likely returns from injury are Bridcutt, who I suspect will get some game time on Tuesday, and Scully who's going to be another week or two.

Still clinging onto the positive that the majority of our games are close with a goal either way so we're rarely completely out of it. I think I saw that we've lost 95+% of games we've conceded first in.

We're getting the Sky treatment at home to Wednesday on Tuesday night.

We still have problems with the sickness bug that affected the squad over the weekend, with Joe Morrell and George Hirst both doubtful. They've been a big part of our recent good run, along with Louis Thompson who has injured himself in training. Always a worry when a player with his injury record pulls up again.

We have a serious lack of squad depth, which Harrogate highlighted at the weekend. Midfield is looking very lightweight now. Barry Bannen could murder us. I'd bite your hand off for a point.

Like many other teams we are ravaged by injuries and are falling back on our youth players. Cant see where a win is coming from and a point will be descent against the Trotters tonight. Apparently Chris Beech ex Carlisle Utd boss is bookies favourite for the Fleetwood job, he was flying at Brunton Park and then it all went pear shaped, worrying times but when you least expect it........

At present every Donny fan is praying for the mother of all storms to postpone tonight’s game and stop us getting mullered

I'm still staggered at the decline from the side we faced only last season. At the time I felt that's the level we ought to be aspiring to. It's amazing quite how football can change so quickly at this level.

We are a bit more ruthless this time around (than last year) and far more able to manage games/put teams to the sword when required. Logic suggests an Oxford win, however I don't expect it to be easy following a tough couple of weeks (Covid and Sunderland on Saturday).

Weather seems to have calmed around here, was very windy and wet this afternoon, but looks like we're all systems go for another cold, depressing night at the Mornflake Stadium, as you can tell I can't wait.

Shafted by Moore and the board allowed it, made more mistakes in the summer which appears to have finally woken them up, probably far too late to save our season though. It appears both Bogle and Williams have been brought back from the cold and a surprise addition to the team is expected tonight.

I wouldn’t worry, a few rumours going round travelling supporters that our only 2 fit centre backs are both out tonight.

Some severe flooding to the main A road into Fratton from the motorway at present. Pitch holding up, but a pitch inspection to be taken at 6:30.

Slight concern that the travel chaos may put a stop to the game even if the pitch holds up. I'm sure the fact Sky cameras are there will hold some sway mind.

Game on. Not one centre back in our squad tonight, Windass misses out too. This game could be anything.

The only thing I can’t believe is that we are only losing 1-0, nothing can get worse unless Boris cancels Christmas after the Tories Xmas do

It’s definitely not a game of football at Fleetwood. The weather is horrendous. Both teams really struggling,

Cambridge 2 up and fully deserve it. We've been absolutely awful, big mistake bringing Freestone back into the team.

Duck invaded the pitch !

Gone wrong for Lincoln.

Soft penalty given away then get man sent off .

And now 2-0.

Stupid red for Santos. Didn’t need to do it and now we lose him for god knows how many games. Idiot. I’m getting so frustrated with us this season. We are so toothless going forward. Create plenty of chances but never take them and then can’t defend at all!

3-0 Game over. Season over, slap bang midtable which is where I thought but my god it’s frustrating. We’ve been an absolute shambles again today.
