Definitely more goals in the game at Prenton Park. Port Vale look scared every time we attack whilst they are a threat going forward. Been a good game.

We always look like that. Hence why we’ve slid down the table. Legge on, Mills off put Smith to right back. Cant be any worse. Or even give this Huddersfield kid a go.

Hurting my ears. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb. Any Vale fans who moan about bowers and Sproson will probably feel less bad about them!

Our fans are commenting more on their commentary team than our defence!

Closest thing I can compare it to is when the old EFL highlights show that was on ITV in the early 2000s used to have some clubs Clubcall commentators and were just tremendously biased. Think on YouTube there was an old Stockport V Vale game from that time which had one of them though it did add some entertainment to the show.

Could see it getting rather grating though if we end up letting in another couple.

Having TOWIE's Mark Wright starting in defence maybe doesn't help? It's 11 years since he last played non-league, big ask playing at this level.
Cheers. Hadn't seen that he'd started. Good! Publicity-seeking knobs hahaha

What's going on with Newport and red cards? When our game down there was postponed it was disappointing in part because they had so many suspensions but the way things are going when we do play them they'll have racked up even more.

Most telling thing for me was how quickly HT seemed to come, I was actually enjoying watching us, usually it seems to drag as I wish it would be over.

Yeah, both teams look vulnerable defensively. Can see an entertaining (or nervy) second half coming!

Before the goal Vale were the better team then when Tranmere scored they were like Brazil!

It’s like those ones you get on sky when they let the fans have a go.

Feels as though we're never going to score another goal. Last goal from open play by one of our players was early December.

Dave Higgins played for us for a decade or so at our peak. He absolutely knows his stuff, but he doesn't have a voice for radio and he's not neutral in the slightest :pmsl: Don't think he'll be invited to MOTD any time soon, but he's one of ours so leave him alone!

Jesus Christ we are so bad at the back. How’s two men got a chance for a tap in there! Marking is non existent

This is so shit:

Harrogate are being made to look like Germany.

All three goals are the direct consequence of our midfield going missing. Mind you, the way it's set up does lend itself to going missing. As far as I can tell we have four midfielders. Matthews main role seems to be to give the ball away on the right wing. Powells role seems to sit in front of the centre halfs and give up. Josh Wright appears to be standing in the centre and letting people run by him and Hessanthaler seems to be left sided wing back protecting our left back.

Otherwise known as a mess.

This could be a big loss for us.

Next goal will be critical. Rovers great going forward but defensively jittery

Aye at first I thought it was offside but was actually a really clever run. Very lucky escape for us.

Woollery looks a threat every time the ball is near him.

Need to start looking a couple of changes I think.

And there’s the inevitable Newport goal with their first shot on target.

We’ve deserved that to be fair. Keeper makes a good save and then gifts the ball to Vaughan. Need to get a 4th to kill the game off now.
