Not going to get fooled by the couple of goals at the end. That was more about slackness from Cheltenham than anything else.

Three home games in a row coming up and it is essential we pick up a win from at least one of them if not a couple.

Dire second half. Worse ref. Awful ref, worst we've had this season. FGR were taking the piss with their time wasting and complaining, but we still haven't done enough to beat that. The penalty was ridiculous, so its difficult to swallow that. We deserved a point, if only for not being as bad as the opposition. I'd like to see their second goal again as I think it came off a player in an offside position. If it didn't, fair play as Adams set himself up and struck it well and if it's a fair goal, that's the only real bit of quality in the match. Would like to see our pen call in the second too.

Very frustrating from Hurst to bring Bunney on who unsurprisingly looked even more hopeless on the wing than at left back. Adams is on the bench and has played alright there recently, what the fuck is he thinking?

Proved it again. Against the footballing sides we are a force (against the kick and rush not so much)

Lovely goal from Nichols and how we didn't get another from Joe "Van Basten' McNerney's volley and the scramble following I do not know.

Thought Tranmere went a bit flat after half time when Kirby went of and we edged the second half.

Didn't see this coming but blooming happy with the result.

Cheltenham weren’t that good today, in fact far poorer than at VP in the Autumn. I was furious we’d conceded 3 and the manor we did.

Injuries killing us but if you gift anyone the goals we have today your in trouble.

Paul Hurst directly at fault for us losing a game, again.
It's worse than the Danny Parslow substitution that time. At least he was trying to close a game out and put a player in the right position there. I've defended Hurst a lot in the past, but that was nonsense. It's really really frustrating.

We were absolutely dire today, again, really worried about us and think it will be an easy win for Bolton Tuesday and we're gonna have work to do to make the playoffs let alone the top 3 IMO.

But, WHAT A FUCKING HIT MULLIN. Desperately needed that was.

Walsall could have been two or three up but that was a smash and grab from us today. We were DREADFUL and looked out of ideas after the first ten minutes.

Paul Mullin wonder strike has got us out of jail here because no way did we deserve to win that one today but that's what happens to promotion chasing teams when having an off day.

Very tough trip to Bolton now.

We've hit some pretty poor form in recent weeks but tend to at least finish games strongly.

Walsall made it tough with a really energetic pressing game but we were way below our best. Not convinced with Bonner's tactics today as our narrow diamond midfield gave Walsall plenty of space down the flanks and they could double up on our fullbacks, who are usually a good attacking threat. Took him 75 minutes to make a change too.

Mullin with a class finish (25 for the season) to bail us out.

We need to improve massively ahead of Bolton on Tuesday and without Wes I reckon we're better off switching up the formation.

It was a very strange game - Vale started well, but then we scored and they seemed to give up. The second was unlucky for Scott, and after that we cruised. Out of nowhere, Vale pulled one back and we collapsed. They then scored another and then bombarded us for the final 10 mins or so.

We didn't get out of 2nd gear, and we didn't need to for 80 mins. The problem was, we then couldn't up the gears when Vale scored.

A lesson to be learnt and we move on to Mansfield on Tuesday.

Shows what a top goalscorer can do! Massive game Tuesday. It's a must win for us. If we hadn't conceded late today we'd have 5 clean sheets in a row and and 7 wins and I would be very confident. 93rd minute sucker punch means anything can happen now on Tuesday as it feels like a loss for us. Your late winner today means a draw would do for you I reckon?

That they're prone to the odd disaster? The first hour or so showed that they were better than us, and let's be honest, they're never dropping into the bottom two, so it's a moot point.

Yeah we’ve been prone to the odd disaster!

It’s lasted from august until present

Sounds like some fans are set to go and let them know how we feel at training next week... they’ve had an easy ride this season

Some of the football today was our best of the season, not to much bothered about the goal....we have done the same to Barrow and Southend.
On to Cambridge Tuesday going to be a good team that beats us between now and the end of the season......and theres none of them in this league.

Cheltenham when they have had the chance have done some good work with the ball. Can see how their players are making runs off the ball into space whereas we on the other hand are just so static and slow.

Guthrie off for Swan. Thank fuck for that. Bradford fans you overrated him calling him garbage.
He’s up there as worst ever...

You’re very quiet on your darling Hursts return Gladders?

Have I? Don't think he got much wrong today other than bringing Bunney (his only bad signing imo, and not signing a true goalscorer) on, and leaving Lamy out. But even with that we still created virtually nothing, Matete has also turned to shit. Only real postivie is Menayese is getting better as each game comes.

Still believe if we had this squad at the start of Jan we wouldn't be in this position now, all signed too late and after playing relegation rivals unfortunately. We'd be a few points clear and Hurst would have us hard to beat, unfortunately now we have no confidence and Hurst doesn't know how to attack teams. But said we were down a long time ago and nothing is changing that opinion unfortunately.

Gutted with the result. We've got to be more clinical. Dominated for long periods but just can't get it over the line. Good finish for the equaliser, but we dropped deep and invited pressure.

Hope it doesn't knock the confidence too much going into Tuesday

I'd snap your hand off for a point right now for sure, especially with a more winnable game in theory at Oldham on the Saturday after.

Mansfield must be sick of the sight of Patrick Brough - our CB/part-time LWB has 4 goals this season and 3 of them have come against Mansfield.

The Bunney sub cost us the game, the same kind of sub we’ve been used to before. Hurst has cost us the past 3 games with subs/tactics.

Agree on Menayese, very good the past 2 games and I thought Hewitt was good today too.

No goalscorer? What about the inspired LJL signing??
