3-0 that is shocking from Grimsby to be fair but will take it.

They had their best spell of the game before that without really looking like scoring.

Port Vale fans still think they are the worst team in the league?
Oh my word. I'm genuinely sorry for you watching this. Similar to Bolton in the level of freak shit defending.

It was offside, surely? Not even mentioned on the Vale commentary.

If Paul Hurst somehow keeps this abomination of a team up then he should be given a fucking Knighthood.

We have Southend, Scunthorpe, Barrow & Stevenage next, we could be down by the end of the month or we could somehow be out of the scrap, what a huge month

Every time I have to listen to other club's commentary it makes me appreciate ours. Ours is actually pretty decent in comparison. These Vale two are so biased. "Majestical" and "wonderful" my favourite superlatives they've used so far.

Disagree, it’s nice to see somebody call a game right and not be constantly wrong like Tonduer. It’s obvious now watching it how often he gets really basic stuff wrong

Not denying Vale deserve it but they've lavished the praise on. I think Tonduer is good personally though.

Yeah I like Tondeur and he tells it how it is even when we're rubbish, his main problem is not being more brutal to managers in post match interviews.

Only watched first half today as turned off at half time but could only listen to vale commentators for 5 mins of that before muting it.

A few decent results lately have masked the fact that we're shit. Grimsby can't be any worse than us.

Fair play to Vale definitely deserved the win, the third goal killed the game. We had absolutely nothing after that. I'm waiting until the lineup is announced next week before buying a match pass. If Green starts I'm out.

Important win most of all and keeping a clean sheet has to be a step up from of late. Not sure can really read much else into it as the opposition looked a lot like we have lately. They tried passing it but was slow paced and in areas that rarely hurt us.

Alex Hurst will fetch us some decent money at some point. Not bad for someone we plucked from Bradford Park Avenue on a flyer over a year ago.

Yeah he could go in harder with questions but he has to build up a professional relationship with the managers really, I think some journalists prefer to give an easier ride in order to get them to open up maybe.

Jolley's got his work cut out as we are dreadful. All down to Dunn though, spent all summer trying to recruit players outside of our budget and we've ended up with a shower of shite. No suprise our best players are those we had last season.

I told you we were a crock of shit!

Had to turn the Radio Stoke lads commentary off, they were so over the top with their praise for Vale; also why were there fans in the ground and do Vale time waste like they are playing in Europe every time they are winning with 40 minutes left? No need to do it against our lot what so ever!

Huge huge win and we looked miles more at it today both defensively and in the midfield.

Pugh did something Askey never does and changed a formation at half time! When we are winning too! We were able to then suffocate any threat Grimsby offered despite all the possession and got another, superb ball for Burgess who looked poor otherwise. Cant tell if Woz was on or off as he comes out of shot when the ball is played, if he was onside the Grimsby back line have completely gone to sleep there.

Grimsby looked a mess, look like we have in recent weeks to be honest but Hurst I’m sure will organise them.

Looks like Theo Robinson is back in the fold!

Guess we have to question with the desire and battle today that they clearly had stopped playing for Askey which is disappointing though.

Table looks much better. Tough one against FGR away but then Walsall at H, Scunthorpe A and Southend H... big games keep coming but feel a lot more positive tonight.
