Triple checked and there's no Hartlepool game on Friday! :P1:

Barrow vs Mansfield Town
Bradford City vs Stockport County
Colchester United vs Harrogate Town
Crewe Alexandra vs Gillingham
Doncaster Rovers vs Leyton Orient
Grimsby Town vs Crawley Town
Hartlepool United vs Carlisle United
Newport County vs Rochdale
Northampton Town vs Salford City
Stevenage vs Swindon Town
Sutton United vs Tranmere Rovers
Walsall vs AFC Wimbledon

The Stockport game worries me. We're unbeaten at home and they haven't won away. We've been on a great run points-wise but haven't played well in many of those fixtures. We've been subpar against the weaker times in the league, which we'll need to avoid on Saturday. We've been scoring early in recent games, but then we tend to sit back and let the opposition have a go, which needs addressing really. My team would be:

Lewis

Halliday
Odusina
Platt
Foulds

Smallwood
Gilliead

Banks
Chapman
Wright

Cook

If we get the early goal we need to be ruthless and go for the second. I'd love to see us be comfortable at halftime for a change. 3-1 City.

I think the majority of Donny fans are expecting us to be handed our arse on a plate, which would hopefully be the final nail in McSheffrey’s coffin and be ironic that his predecessor would be the one to seal it. We’re gonna fluke a win and keep him aren’t we?

Hopefully we won’t play too well. The two games in which we’ve enjoyed total dominance for 80+ minutes are the two we haven’t won.

As so often this year can see the train strikes halving our away following to around 250.

He’s been in charge for about a year and our performances haven’t improved we have zero plan, no idea what formation we should be playing. How we have so many points is totally down to luck other than against Northampton. He continually calls out players and he stated that last night we deserved more out of the game, obviously watched a different one to everyone else

I can only go on them against us but they had no sort of plan and sat 10 behind the ball all game, they have good enough players at this level to offer more than that against every team.

I made a comment at the time that if they continue to play like that even if they get points they’ll soon lose patience, reminds me of us under Bowyer when he was sacked when we were in the playoffs because fans were chanting him out.

At least Bradford have visited so they can't moan about the allocation of 200 that'll be left after Saturday
Think I'll put my crash helmet on,don't fancy a seat getting bounced off my napper.

11 games in, 14 points, most fans would agree it’s been a good start. However, we’ve STILL not won at home.

Has to end Saturday surely, the 3 at the back worked at Salford, interested to see if Hurst tries it again given it was forced upon him last week.

Big game is this, for me.

As mentioned, we’re in great form. Not particularly brushing teams aside, but not necessarily getting out of second gear, either.

Stockport haven’t started the season as everyone pretty much expected them to. They have a very poor away record and are currently seeking their first away win.

If is wasn’t for the Infamous rail strike, the 2,800 tickets we sent them would’ve been snatched up - even taking into account their form. That being said, they surpassed 1,500 yesterday, so anything near 2,000 would be a great effort, IMO.

20,000+ is a distinct possibility.

As for the team, I hope Banks is fit. Dion Pereira and Chapman (albeit played out of position) are somewhat passengers recently.

GK: Harry Lewis

RB: Brad Halliday
CB: Matty Platt
CB: Romoney Critchlow
LB: Matty Foulds

CM: Alex Gilliead
CM: Ritchie Smallwood

RW: Scott Banks
CAM: Harry Chapman
LW: Tyreik Wright

CF: Andy Cook

2-1 City! Cook and Chapman
20,328 (1,992 County)

Mansfield seem to be either brilliant or shit with little in between. We've been off colour for a couple of weeks and need to get a foothold. I fancy this to be our first draw, but wouldn't be surprised to see it end up 3-0 either way.

Not a scooby what to expect from Carlisle this season, and seeing what their fans on here post only makes it more confusing. Either expecting a performance like prime Brazil or the make a wish foundation to turn up. Just hope the fans can keep the damage to a minimum as don’t want Raj spunking the entire Jan transfer budget he’s set aside replacing a couple of seats.

Hoping we kick on from Tuesday night now and Curle gets one over on his old side.

I don't think Banks will be fit enough to play. If not, I would have Chapman wide and Angol in the number 10 role

Would expect us to beat Doncaster.
Big game for Wellens going back to his old club, and hopefully he has us fired up after losing (undeservedly) to Newport last time out.
Already have half an eye on the Northampton game the following week, but need to be winning these kinds of games if we're serious about a top 3 finish.
Won't be going due to the trains sadly - how do they get away with striking every bloody week?

We sold out our allocation at some point last week.

I wonder if we've set aside a portion of our budget for the inevitable annual repair bill for Victoria Park
Raj is having the seats removed tomorrow, Standing only.

My only worry is that if we lose on Saturday we are in a bit of a rut, without many different options in the squad to change it to try and maintain ourselves in the top half. Still, it's nice that we had that superb start to significantly reduce any bottom six worries, which is exactly where we would've been with a squad of Phil Brown's 35 year old mercenaries.

I think Phil Brown would've been sacked by now, and Amadi Holloway would be searching for his first goal of the season.

Stevenage away and they are on a great run with x consecutive home wins. We've won our last two away and apart from a small blip last Saturday we are 4 wins from 5. A draw would be a very good result but their run has to end sometime. I fancy a 2-0 to us.

Gillingham at home. Given there form we got to be looking at 3 points. Most of our fans are hoping Morris goes a little more attacking and maybe bloods one or two of our exciting youngsters mainly Tabiner or Charlie Finney.

It really wouldn't surprise me if Mandron and or Kashket come back to haunt us and the Gills nick a 1-0.

Scott Banks out for another week, Dion Pereira likely to start.

I’ve changed my prediction, we’ll lose this one.

What makes you say that? I'd be really disappointed if we didn't beat them, to be honest. If we're looking at the top 3 this season, then we have to be beating the bottom six sides, especially at home.

It’s just a gut feeling - and we lose these types of games.

Completely agree, no excuses - we should win.

My gut feeling also says first home defeat for us and first points on the road for Stockport.

Weekend in barrow again for the mansfield boys.

One of my favourite trips, the locals are absolutely class and seem to have an odd interest in why the hell you’re there for the weekend.

Holker street is so fabulously wank it’s actually good, and the social club behind the other stand is always welcoming too.

As for the game, we’ve moved into gear a bit and i’d be surprised if we lost.
