Missing today as one of my customers has decided to do a major systems upgrade today and I can't get out of work. Popped into the ground yesterday and spoke to the lads and Gary Waddock, all seem confident we can get something, but recognize we need to be less profligate with the number of chances and put more of them away. The pitch is looking absolutely magnificent and as always will suit teams who play it fast on the deck, as I believe both sides like to. If we can do that then we will beat Tranmere, if not, we will come unstuck. We created a host in the first half at Bromley but didn't put them away, and it bit us on the arse. On Monday at Dover we could have been five up at half time but squandered what we created and it nearly happened again. Pretty soon our generosity will be punished.

Hoping we will have too much pace up top for Tranmere, the last time we had a team with pace in it that played against McNulty we ended his Football League career, he was given the run around. But the last couple of seasons he has been immense against us because we've tried play him at his own game. The main difference for us this year is our midfield is as good as anyone's in this division and has already yielded plenty of goals, hopefully today that carries on, if we play with width and pace with Bellamy and Gallagher breaking from midfield we hopefully will have too much for Tranmere, who in the couple of games I've seen of them this year, look pretty static at the back.

Play like the above, I expect us to win, if we don't take our chances it will be tight as we tend to give little away at the back, except from crosses. Should be an entertaining game, going for a 3-1 Shots win.

Might seem strange, a post in here by someone from Scotland but.....I know little to nothing about your teams but I do bet occasionally on some of the games & I do look out for the weekend results & check out teams stats as in played, won, goals for etc etc. Last season I had a run of 7 wins on the trot betting BTTS games. Forest Green featured a lot in my bets. I also enjoy watching your televised games if they're on at the weekends. Probably be watching the Torquay v Lincoln game this evening.

This looks like a pisspoor WFC side in the grand scheme of things but I'd like raise a Point of Order: also I have no doubt at all that we'll manage to lose at Macc for what seems like the twentieth time in a row, BUT...
The start of the season saw us lose our first three home games. Lincoln, FGR & Dagnum. That's three of most people's bets for top five this year. Nobody else on a tiny budget has had that tough a start. We've actually thrown away leads in our away games, because we're as brittle as Ismail Yakubu's knees. We've had zero confidence because it's a young side with no leaders.

Now we've won a game and maybe, just maybe, we'll start to show the positive potential (yes we have had glimpses) before we've conceded three goals in ten minutes- just for a change.

But for all that I accept it's written in the stars that Macc will somehow manage to beat us yet again, the spawny dirty bastards.
What have we ever done to hurt you??

Anyway, we should win this one, although we still have Andy Halls suspended, plus McCombe and James came off injured on Monday so not sure whether they will be fit. Hopefully we can carry our 2nd half dominance against Solihull into today's game.

Actually a bit excited for this one tonight. Saturday evening kick offs just have a different feel to them, and last weekends back to back wins have lifted the mood a bit. Wet and windy conditions so it probably won't be a great spectacle football-wise.

2-1 to either side.

Had it all their own way so far, let's see what Tranmere are made of now.

We sound like we're having a shocker. I suspect if you beat Torquay tonight you'll be 1 point behind us tomorrow morning. We don't sound likely to get back into this, only really had one shot and we've got a CB on a yellow with an hour to play.

1-1. Cook, but sounds like it was against the run of play.

Yakubu off injured for Woking. Again could be out for a while.

I assume they'll be holding a funeral for him like they did Rendell. Might as well do one for their Conference status as well, make it a double-bash.
