Our last away win in the league was back in February at Woking. A repeat tomorrow would be very welcome although i won't hold my breath!

Massive game at the top. Would like to see Wallace get his first start alongside Harris with Hughes behind them. Looks as though Cook is out for this one so will line up with Mangan and Norwood up front. I can see a score draw with both teams going for it.

We've sold just under 700 tickets for this i think, with pay on the day available so hopefully there will be 800+ Tranmere fans there.

I'd be gobsmacked, if Cook doesn't make the game due to a broken finger as suggested.

Bar Beevers, we're all fit.

Decisions to make over Power/Whitehouse and Hawkridge/Anderson.

And after tomorrow, we've got a stupid run of 7 away games in 9 or something.

tbh a loss wouldn't surprise me tomorrow, can we just end the league at xmas? Because we can't mathematically be in the relegation zone at Xmas

Come around quickly this game, doesn't feel that long ago since this (almost) unbeaten run started at Aldershot a few months ago.

We've got to improve on last week's trophy efforts, we got through but were pretty dreadful in doing so. Hudson suspended for us, though that might be a blessing in disguise.

Massive game. If we play as badly as we did on Tuesday then Guiseley will have no problems. We would move eight clear of them with a win. If nothing else, just avoid defeat - but we need to be winning this.

Not confident about the trip to Sincil Bank. It would be a surprise if Wallace starts and having made such a big thing about Cook's finger not expecting him to either. Would happily take a draw, but no idea how this will pan out.

Plenty of interesting games elsewhere, with the game at Forest Green having a bearing at the right end of the table, while the fixtures at Maidstone, Woking and York could be pivotal at the opposite end. All hard to call.

Bet Miller is looking forward to playing against us again...

Our defence have been a bit dodgy recently, did better at Truro with a back 5 but what with Bennett's unlucky sending off, due to the useless ref "having had enough and needing to send someone off to feel better", we're going to need to reshuffle.

Tough game, but we HAVE to win to get that confidence back and finally beat a top 6 team. This is our last home game against the other title challengers, and ending up failing to win any of them wouldn't bode well. We're definitely up for it by the sounds of it, but so will Dover be after their recent blip.

Shamir Mullings is targeting 15 goals in the second half of the season, hopefully he can get 1 or 2 on his debut tomorrow. Be good to have Kieffer Moore back as well

Lose at home tomorrow and I think we're done with top spot. Comfortably beat Solihull away way back in September how time change when I can't see us winning!

It's a mouth watering 14th v 15th clash at Gander Green Lane, as Sutton host Wrexham. Personally I'm glad we're back playing a league game after our cup adventures of the last couple of weeks. I've got my excuses bingo card at the ready in case we win

Really? You've done brilliantly in the cups this season.

It's not like you're going up or down, so surely it's all about the cups now?

Is that all? He won't get a look in then with the others getting 60 or so each.

Any good manager should be able to beat Dover's tactics.
We have no midfield. Our centre backs can't pass. Frustrate Miller. That should be enough.

A draw would be a very good result for Tranmere. Sincil bank has never been a happy hunting ground for Rovers and you'd have to go back to 1977 since the last time we left with a point.
Gutted i can't make this game, as aTranmere fan these top of the table clashes don't come around too often!

We're doing well this year. We don't usually win any games in November to January. Hudson suspension will be a blessing only if Sam Hughes steps back into the middle.

Our number one priority is staying up. Our recent league record is poor, so I'm not feeling 100% comfortable. With 3 league games between now and Wimbledon it's a great opportunity to move strongly towards survival

Another huge game for us. Another bumper crowd. Looking forward to it. Like the Tranmere fans have said already so nice to be involved at the top of the table.
Really hope it's us two who go up.

You're right, Hudson's suspension will only be a blessing if Sam steps back in to the middle. He should do tomorrow, I'll spit if he doesn't. It's killing me seeing him wasted at the moment.

Boreham Wood away - not a fixture that inspires a lot of enthusiasm - but we have a good chance of getting to 25 unbeaten - although we really need to win this one.
The 4 players who didn't start on Tuesday including Byron Harrison should all be back and Harrison in particular will be fired up against one of his old clubs. I can see this being close though - so am going for a narrow 2-1 Barrow win.
On other games I'd be surprised if Cook is not at least on the bench for Tranmere with his hand strapped up - one thing Cook isn't is a soft arse - so he'll try to play if at all possible.
Ideally we'd like a draw in that game and Dover drawing (or even winning) at FGR. Given how inconsistent and injury hit Dagenham are I could see them dropping points against Solihull too.

Bit ironic that Bennett of all people is missing the game against us today, for what appears to be a 'soft' sending off, when in the TV match last year he escaped with a yellow for an horrendous tackle that could have snapped Millers leg in half!

It's quite funny really, looking at both forums, many of our supporters are predicting a FGR win, whilst many FGR supporters are doing the same in reverse............how weird :bg:

Our last three games have been poor, very poor, and more worryingly in the order played have also got progressively worse. Sure, we could conceivably man up and yet again upset one of the big boys in their own backyard, but our midfield is so ineffective and surprisingly our defence so disorganised this season, I am afraid it's more likely be another match added to this seasons list of tonkings we've already taking.
In Orlu, we have a CH whose sagacity when deciding what he is meant to do, is still in the Ryman league, and our midfield is simply not fit for purpose and hasn't been all year yet still CK has still refused to do anything about it. He signed Healey, maybe a month ago, and like so many of his signings we haven't even seen him yet, so what is the point?
FGR will no doubt double up on Miller, everyone is, which logic suggests should then leave more room for Lafayette and Emmanuel, but it doesn't as the boss refuses to alter his up and at'em footballing policy and as Dartford proved (twice!) these days, when even poor teams can be well drilled and organised, such old fashioned football is just so easy to defend against especially as every opponent now knows what to expect when they play us
If we get it down and play, we must have a good squeak, but because unless we score early it so rarely happens (and therein I suggest lies the secret to us getting a positive result today) and I genuinely fear Arnold on his return could be picking the ball out of the net 3,4 times...come on boys prove this old cynic wrong

Hopefully Dover are weak at defending set pieces/crosses, with Moore and Mullings up front we must have the tallest front pairing in the league. (Mullings at 6ft 5" is the short one).
