Haha we're gonna be the end of a throbbing veiny Scunny tallywhacker here.
I think tonight has to be as much about the performance as the result. This season we've beaten them because we were better, hopefully this time around that plays on their minds.

I don't mind giving Ariyibi a go, but Carter and Humphreys are fucking strange ones!

You've never seen Carter play, and apparently Raglan isn't 100%. Humphreys when played in the attacking trio at the very start of the season offered us excellent balance. He'll play well for 60 minutes and come off for some younger legs. I think of the three of them, Ariyibi is the strangest choice.

That explains Carter then, as I'd expect Raglan to start above him every time if fit

Chose not to go in the end, a wise decision. Couldn't face a third trip, this time at 20 odd quid, so saved it and accumulated some cash instead.

Not looking good at the moment, is it?The team is at a proper crossroads and it's going to take all of Cookie's ability to take us on from here.

I am confident we won't go down but a major rebuild is required in the summer.

Delighted with that victory, very well deserved.

Chesterfield really seemed lost tonight, they had a few good chances in the first half but just wasted them. In the second half they were just pathetic. Sam Morsy really must have had an off day because he was dreadful.

Overall very happy.

We're really shit at the minute mate. We weren't making it up! The league is that tight we could find ourselves just outside the relegation zone within 2-3 games

Confused why Cook went with Humphreys at LM and Clucas at LB, shouldn't it be the other way around? Plus, why didn't Duffy come on? He's a class above that Aryibi from what I've seen.

We definitely need to be playing Clucas higher up yeah. Duffy had a go against Orient and didn't look great. Wasn't Ariyibi our only positive from the night? sounded like he gave your LB a torrid time

Williams had him pretty much everytime, first half he ran at him a little bit but Williams got a tackle most times. The winger was alright but I think Duffy would be more effective.

our commentator was creaming over him, although he does tend to get excited at strange times

To be fair he was probably your only player who actually looked like creating something, Harrison looked like a donkey and Gnanduillet even worse.

That was (predictably) shit.

Actually in fairness the first half wasn't bad, probably should have gone in ahead having been the better side. Ear;y in the second half Cook makes a pretty unnecessary sub bringing Armand on whilst "defending" a corner, seconds later the balls in our net (a fucking corner again FFS) and that was the game lost, they grew in confidence and we looked like it was all a bit too much effort to try and get back into it.

Fed up at watching Armand have absolutely no impact during games, even when he "wins" headers it's very rare the ball goes in the right direction or near a teammate and then on the odd occasion he finds himself in a decent goal scoring position, there's no point in getting out of your seat in anticipation because you know there's no way he's going to fucking score. Don't wanna try make him into a scapegoat, others players are also struggling at the minute but you gotta draw the line somewhere and maybe he's just not enough.
