We've signed a shitload of players, which - as we all know means - it can go one way or t'other!

But all we've done is what every opposition's fan was generously 'advising' us to do (as our team would go straight back down)...is to get some proper Championship quality players in...not good enough to win it or go up most probably ...but enough to hold our own - and consolidate this year.

The majority of our squad was composed of players that have taken us from non-league or L2 - to where we are now. Unfortunately, as is the norm in football, they are the victims of their own success...and lads that have got us here, are now off to find other positions at their level - a sad fact of football life!

Yeah, I think you've had a good window. Built a solid mid-table side and shifted out the L1 players, I'd expect you to consolidate and then make a proper go of promotion next season, adding some marquee players over the next two windows. I'd be surprised if Parkinson is Wrexham's manager by next season though.

Lundstram of six years ago perhaps. Matt Crooks another whose best is behind him but he will do a job for you this season and perhaps next. Hadziahmetovic not a clue about so cannot comment. Slater behave Gyabi i doubt either of us can say who is a better player.......Good grounding and cost leeds a lot of money
Its all about opinions but you have let a very good player slip through the net.
The Lundstram of this season is light years better than Simons, Crooks also. Slater was consistently picked ahead of Simons for us. I really think you're very naive about the gulf between League 1 and the Championship.

Yep. Hence why Wrexham spent big money on two brand new starting midfielders in O'Brien & Sheaf.

I have watched plenty of football down the years, and plenty in the Championship....I asked Wycombe fans was Simons better than Morley who he replaced last January .....The reply was Simons is good but.....
He may be going through a purple patch but i doubt it....He has that class i have not seen in a long long time
He wont be here if we dont get promoted
We got 1m plus fot Thomason and have what i consider the best midfield in the division though Barnsley fans may disagree.....We paid 1m plus for Mcatee and Randall and 750k for Erhahon and have three top league one midfielders in Sheehan, Morley and Dempsey but Simons is levels above them all
