Apart from Adam May, you mean!
I totally forgot about Adam May. But Rose was a key figure here - an integral part of our League 2 winning side and when he got injured in our first season here, our season fell apart.

Totally forgot you also have Doyle and Isgrove there too, as well as Kyle Bennett last season!

Over the moon. Just three years after we were relegated to League Two we're finally back in the Championship. What an unbelievable job Mark Robins has done here.

Really feel for Tranmere, incredibly harsh on them. I hope they can channel the understandable anger from these unfortunate circumstances and immediately bounce back next season.

Congratulations to all at Coventry City. Fully deserved and all the best in the Championship.

Isgrove is class. Way too good for L2.

To be fair to Dale Vince, he was one of the very, very few owners who wanted to finish the season, and said so numerous times over the past few weeks. He backed this up today by voting for this (in League 2 obviously). So he actually showed more solidarity with Tranmere than most.

Congrats Coventry, fully deserved title. Is it just me or does it feel a very strange and flat way to go up though? So it should I suppose. I don’t feel sorry at all for Tranmere. Shit all season and bottom three by any method that wouldnt involve incredible mathematical gymnastics including how they fared in lower leagues in the past. That would have been stupendously unfair on everyone else.

any sympathy I would have felt for Posh has evaporated at the spiteful and nonsensical way in which they resent a club in second placed being promoted over clubs lower down ( I say clubs, they mean them of course). Like I said the other day, every position in the league has been earned over 34/35 results, except Wycombe who won the lottery lol and good luck to em

I wouldn't know. He was injured for us all last season! Even if he wasn't, I doubt he would have displaced two of the best wingers in the division for any period of time.

It's been a difficult time for the club and supporters these last few weeks.

Through no fault of our own we have had to endure snide comments from certain individuals who decided somehow we were totally to blame for this whole mess.

it's a hollow promotion because we are not there to witness it.
It does not feel at all like 2014 and 18 but over 80% of the season we proved the second best team in the league and on that alone we deserve the promotion.

Huge congratulations to Coventry and our old boy Mark Robins, 5 points clear and a game in hand saved them from all the abuse we received and good luck to them in trying to return home.

Be strange if Portsmouth came up to with another of our former managers (though not held in great esteem in these parts) Mr Jackett.
If they do, it would make us the smallest of the 3 clubs promoted so it's going to be tough in the Championship as always.

Having got there though, it will allow us to hang onto our better players.
We should get Iverson and Barlaser back on loan and if Scotty does as well in this close season as he did last year, at least we will give Warney a chance of keeping us up this time.

Congratulations Coventry & Rotherham. Genuinely gutted for Tranmere, but that's what happens when you sign Stefan Payne.

See you in 2 years, Rotherham.

I’m just thankful a decision has been made, congratulations to both Cov and Rotherham (normally the latter would stick in my craw but given there are more important things to worry about well done) let’s hope there is a next season and that all our clubs survive to play in it.

One thing I will say is that whilst not everyone will we happy, I'm happy for Coventry.

After all the shit they've been through with Sisu and their stadium for nearly 14 years, they've finally had some luck go their way off the pitch.

Mark Palios has indicated that relegation will cost Rovers £1 million before factoring in playing games behind closed doors for some of next season.

A quick recovery seems unlikely on that basis, though we're in a position to survive with job cuts.

A club in a less stable financial position than ourselves would go under because of this. Unfortunately people are only ever out for themselves, and this was the convenient solution. Goes without saying we won't forget this in a hurry.

Probably but so long as we work hard and give it a go like last time, we'll be happy.

I have some sympathy for Tranmere but it's not any other club's fault Covid stopped the season in March.
I don't understand why they think that clubs would vote in any other way than their own best interests.
After all that was what their chairman's plans were intending to do, dredging up results from 3 season back to suit their scenario.
It's tough but don't bleat in public, put it right on the field next year.
I wish you all the best. UTM

Yesterday’s news to not promote Boro was just magic. Seeing the toys out the pram from McAnthony and Fry was worth us having a shite season. I’m staggered they have no empathy for other clubs‘ existence, showed their true colours. c***.

Feels great to be back. We were very good this season but it's still a chore to watch games in League 2. The fixtures in this league get the juices flowing again.

Not a great way to get promoted but will take it.

Do you think you’ll want to sign Jerry Yates full time?
