Stolen from the League 1 section, bit different than just your standard tables:

The team that surprises us all and does very well?

Fancy Birmingham to have a good season, really rate Gary Rowett

The team that starts off great but then falters as the season progresses?

MK Dons. Think they might catch a few people out early on, reckon their style of play will really suit the Championship, but squad depth may prove their undoing when it gets down to it

The team that will be up there all season then mess it up right at the end?

Derby, again

The team that will be fighting against relegation when they really shouldn't be?

Nottingham Forest

The team that will be first to sack their manager?

Huddersfield. Think they'll struggle this year and Powell doesn't seem the most secure as it is

The team that will pretty much dominate the league for the full season?

Wolves, really fancy them. Good squad, lot of very good young players, ended last season in great form and think they'll keep on going.

The most hated team in the league?

In general, QPR. On here, Rotherham, though we'll run them close

The team that plays the best football?

Brentford

That team who just seems to have been mediocre all season, stuck in mid table?

Brighton

I think Fulham will do a lot better this season, much as it pains me to say it. They have a lot of good youngsters who should step up a bit this season, if they can get rid of a couple of high earners and a couple of the young players break through, think they'll do very well.

The team that starts off great but then falters as the season progresses?
Bristol City - have great momentum coming into the season, and a good set of players. Think they'll be near the play offs after 10 games, but drop down to mid-table by the end of the season. Still a good first season back for them.

The team that will be up there all season then mess it up right at the end?
Disagree on Derby - think they'll be too strong this season. Think it will be Ipswich this time - overachieved like us last season, just won't make it this time.

The team that will be fighting against relegation when they really shouldn't be?

Cardiff

The team that will be first to sack their manager?
Cardiff - don't rate Slade.

The team that will pretty much dominate the league for the full season?
Derby. The squad they are putting together is just very very good, full of players who can win Championship games on their own, regardless of how well the players play as a "team". Even if they don't start well, I think they'll catch up quickly and walk it.

The most hated team in the league?
QPR and Rotherham. I think Rotherham will probably go down this year but will fight to the very end.

The team that plays the best football?
Hopefully us - thought we were one of the best along with Bournemouth next season. A lot of that was down to Warbs though, so hopefully the new guy is as good.
If not us - then Wolves can play some very good stuff, and should be up there again this year.

That team who just seems to have been mediocre all season, stuck in mid table?
Blackburn - not enough money behind them to get the three or four players they need to become a very good side in this league, and will probably lose a couple of players as well.

Bristol City were a class apart in L1 and can "do a Wolves".

The team that starts off great but then falters as the season progresses?
Probably one of the other two promoted sides. MK Dons might be a flash in the pan as they score a lot of goals.

The team that will be up there all season then mess it up right at the end?
Big pressure on Hull City and Steve Bruce to make immediate return.

The team that will be fighting against relegation when they really shouldn't be?
Queens Park Rangers.

The team that will be first to sack their manager?
Queens Park Rangers.

The team that will pretty much dominate the league for the full season?
I don't think any team generally dominates the Championship. I fancy Wolves and Derby to go really well and the latter might just have the edge over everyone else.

The most hated team in the league?
Life's too short for hating!

The team that plays the best football?
Derby will surely have flair, same goes for Wolves.

That team who just seems to have been mediocre all season, stuck in mid table?
Not many teams seem to do that. Perhaps Blackburn or Reading.

Hard to say before signings... Wednesday or Bolton

The team that starts off great but then falters as the season progresses?
Preston. Sorry, but it's Grayson tradition at this level.

The team that will be up there all season then mess it up right at the end?
I'll say Birmingham

The team that will be fighting against relegation when they really shouldn't be?
Reading

The team that will be first to sack their manager?
Cardiff

The team that will pretty much dominate the league for the full season?
Boro

The most hated team in the league?
Probably QPR these days.

The team that plays the best football?
Derby.

That team who just seems to have been mediocre all season, stuck in mid table?

Ipswich. Squad depth will be our undoing.

QPR

Hull. I think Bruce is under pressure from the off, could be gone early if they don't get off to a good start.

The team that will pretty much dominate the league for the full season?
Derby. I know they've got an unknown manager but their squad is looking very strong,

There won't be many in this category, I'll say Huddersfield.

That's a fair comment TBH.
Yes, we did win the league by some margin and led it for pretty much the whole season but PNE DID push us all the way only to falter at the end. MK were always in touch as well but neither got close enough.
We won it and won it well but 'a class apart' would be unfair on PNE and MK IMO.

Powell won't be sacked unless we're bottom 3 in October IMO.

Had a very strong end to the season where we played some very good football.

Depends if Hoyle gives him some money or not.

I'd absolutely snatch your hand off for that right now. Need to actually sign some players before that becomes a realistic possibility.

Might have a go at this later.

Thanks for all the love, guys.

You are welcome.Mine is an irrational hatred for QPR.Purely because i used to work in Greenford with a load of QPR fans who wouldnt shut up with all the fake hoop banter.Apart from that they were good mates.

Either Wednesday, Forest or Careydd City. Got a sneaky feeling that the new manager for Wednesday could flop, his record is one of the worst i have ever seen.

I wish I shared your confidence, but after losing our two best players, and with Ashley Barnes and Dean Marney both long term injuries, I think we're going to have a season of consolidation.

If we make some decent signings over the summer we might well push for a play-off place, but I'd be content with anything top 10.

This all changes if we lose Jason Shackell. Then we really would be f*cked.

Blackburn, if they keep a large portion of their squad together, £5m for Gestede could see them strengthen significantly and push for a place right up there.

The team that starts off great but then falters as the season progresses?

Reading

The team that will be up there all season then mess it up right at the end?

Burnley, reckon they will slip into play offs just before end of season and then mess up the play offs

The team that will be fighting against relegation when they really shouldn't be?

Leeds

The team that will be first to sack their manager?

Cardiff, poor start will see Slade sacked imo, was a cheap option at the time so less patience.

The team that will pretty much dominate the league for the full season?

Hull, reckon they'll go straight back up.

The most hated team in the league?

QPR, all the stuff with overspending then trying to get out of any punishment for it.

The team that plays the best football?

Us.... In all seriousness I haven't seen enough of other Championship teams to make a judgement.

Nottingham Forest, too good to go down imo, but will struggle to push towards the play offs

The team that surprises us all and does very well?
Bristol City or Charlton would be my two choices. If Charlton get Gomez back on loan then they could be a good bet. I'll stick my neck out and say Charlton.

The team that starts off great but then falters as the season progresses?
Leeds.
I think they will get off to a good start but be unable to keep it up before finishing between 10th and 14th.

The team that will be up there all season then mess it up right at the end?
I'll say Burnley. The only reason is because I don't think they will have much strength in depth.

The team that will be fighting against relegation when they really shouldn't be?
Reading
or Nottm Forest. It'll be interesting to see how both sides will strengthen this window. Both will be relying on youth quite a bit I think - it's worth noting both teams could be fairly strong in the loan market, though.

The team that will be first to sack their manager?
I'll go for a wild card in Steve Bruce. It won't be a newly appointed boss, I don't think and Bruce will be under big pressure early on to succeed. If not Bruce then Russell Slade.

The team that will pretty much dominate the league for the full season?
I'd love to say us, like others have, but I'm not so sure after last season. Clement may need a bit of time to be adjusted. Wolves and Middlesbrough both have the potential to put themselves in a good position. Settled managers, fairly settled team, etc.

The most hated team in the league?
Now Millwall have gone, it's a hard one to pick for the general public. QPR seem to be front runners but Leeds seemed to have slipped under the radar. I personally haven't got one, other than Forest for obvious reasons.

The team that plays the best football?
I fancy us to be a bit more pragmatic next season. I think we'll create a lot more chances and be a bit more forceful in our approach. Brighton to play the most possession-based game. They need a new frontline though.

That team who just seems to have been mediocre all season, stuck in mid table?
Fulham.

We have a new manager? Does the club know?

Carlos Carvahal won't be our manager but to dismiss his record as one of the worst you ever seen is bullshit, he led a third division side to a cup final. Won promotion with Setubal and went back to win a cup and finish in the top six.

Slightly more than Steve Cotterill has achieved no?

Not great in recent times, is it? He led that Third Division side to the cup final over 10 years ago, his record is shite in recent times. That good season i talked about was 2007/08, and he hasn't had a job since 2012.

He's been working in QATAR setting up their football programme, I'm not over enamoured with him but he's here to set up a new ethos at the club not manage.

Some interesting mentions for us.

It's worth pointing out that we've lost the talismanic Dele Alli, had Grigg (our only recognised striker in my view) return to Brentford, Rob Hall (who was a perfect fit for us) go back to Bolton and are yet to secure our goalkeeper. Initial bids for those two loanees were rejected and it's very uncertain as to whether we'll go back in. Rumours are we're looking across Europe but the untimely death of Head Scout Andy King can't have helped matters.

There is allegedly £10M for team building but that's a chicken feed compared to many at this level. Robbo went on record as saying he needed six new players once we got promoted. No doubt a couple of them will be long term loans. The theory was that we could secure a higher calibre of loanee in The Championship, but the very nature of those deals means that they probably won't happen until the season starts and possibly even when Prem Euro squads are announced. It's all starting to look as though it could be a bit last minute.

If the season started tomorrow we'd be nailed on bottom three.
