MK Dons look noticeably weaker than their League One team, are going to need a very good last 6 weeks of the window to catch up.
Agree with you on that, Robinson has a big job on his hands. Can't believe promotion has weakened us so much.

League one was shite last season, if Wolves hadn't gone up with is you'd have probably not dropped a point.

All 3 of the clubs squads aren't in the same league as ours right now and they'd have to go some to match it and we're favourites to go down.

We've not signed 30 either, 10 have left, 10 have come in, we won't sign half as many as last season and we'll be stronger for it.

To be fair mate Bristol City were very good in L1 and I expect them to do well this season

You say 'ours' as if you are suggesting that your squad can be compared with Wolves'.

From where I stand, there is as big a gap in quality in the difference, if not bigger, between Wolves and Rotherham, and Rotherham and Bristol City.

Erm no, the term 'ours' can have a double meaning and i wasn't bringing Wolves' squad into the argument at all.

Who's arguing? :dk:

In terms of any team qualities and aspirations, it'll be clearer to see who's set up best (on paper at least) come the end of the transfer window.

Will be interesting to see how all teams look in terms of quality and depth at that point.

I still believe Brentford are the ones to beat though!

Write us off at your peril, our squad in 07/08 season wasnt great and look how far that took us to a Play-off final.
We have a tight nit squad with some players with real potential, signings havent been made yet but we arent rushing into signing journeymen who will disrupt the group.
Dont know what is going on at PNE or MK Dons but to write any team off before the season starts is daft.

No it's about quality, what's going to happen with less than a month left is that you'll panic and get anyone in.

Put it this way with our summer recruitment, you along with MK Dons and Preston are going to have to go a very long way to have a squad on par with ours in under a month, seen as though by and large everyone had us as favourites to go down.

Ark at Rovrum mind!

Have you got a nosebleed yet for being here this long?

Brentford? They'll be lucky to have one fit striker soon.

Without Pritchard they're a shadow of a team.

That'd be funny if we hadn't spent 4/5 years in the Championship in recent history.

Let's stop biting to the WUM lads eh.
We know what we have and that Cott's will see us right.
We have to bow to the mahoosive Millers but let's keep our powder dry and let our northern friend continue to talk us down. It's not like he has any idea what our club is about as we don't know too much about his apart from they're obviously going to wipe the floor with us.

The team that surprises us all and does very well?
MK Dons. Unfortunately.

The team that starts off great but then falters as the season progresses?
Nottingham Forest.

The team that will be up there all season then mess it up right at the end?
Brentford.

The team that will be fighting against relegation when they really shouldn't be?
Cardiff City.

The team that will be first to sack their manager?
Cardiff City.

The team that will pretty much dominate the league for the full season?
No-one will walk The Championship, but Derby should do much better this season. Wolves too if they manage to replace Sako.

The most hated team in the league?
MK Dons, probably and deservedly.

The team that plays the best football?
Derby County.

That team who just seems to have been mediocre all season, stuck in mid table?
Reading.
