How you all doing?

The renewal period for our season tickets closed yesterday, and the club have reported 1082 season tickets renewed out of a total of 1595 ST holders from last season (though apparently this figure was released before the 5pm deadline so the final number of renewals may be a little higher).

The early-bird period for new season tickets opened today, so it seems we're on track to increase our number of ST holders. This time last year we'd only sold 823 season tickets so it's apparently a 30% increase.

No early bird discount for cash rich us, so we probably won't have a proper idea until August. Sales have started.

3,400 at the end of the early bird period back in mid-March. That was 94% of what was sold at that stage last season.

It's looking as though our lot aren't giving us an Early bird offer which will please the folk who are debating whether to get one anyway. Anyway prices still aren't out. Apparently we are waiting on 2 signings before releasing them. They'll be £330 though

No idea how many we have, buts it'll be our first league season at the hive. We have a rolling membership scheme instead of a traditional season ticket. It's £22 per month - so £264 a year - against £20 | £23 seats or £17 standing.

I think given the facilities it's not a bad price?

We seriously need to do something about our shambolic shit tip of a club.

1500 season tickets is an absolute disgrace. It should be 3 times that at least with a couple of thousand floating fans on top of that. The lack of interest amongst our fanbase Is a result of years of constant bad decisions, shit football, a losing mentality, lack of financial incentives to buy them and the don't give a shit what fans think attitude that stinks out of the club.

I've renewed obviously, but I can't blame anyone for not buying one. It's up to the club to improve the overall match day experience on and off the pitch to give value for money.

As long as we don't consistently become just another shit League 2 team we should be fine in the long run. A top half finish next season and a nice bit of positivity should see floating fans come back, hopefully a lot more of the half-season ticket sales as well which seem to always be a better deal than full ones.

As Laffy himself has said, the playing budget will go up as the revenues we're getting go up - he's sorting out the commercial side of things with the new commercial guy and the new MD, hopefully within a season or two that will help the playing side and then beyond that we should be able to get out of this league.

It's pretty remarkable that we're still a league team with how poorly we've been run really. Pretty much our only revenue has been ticket sales because of how badly everything else is done, and even that has gone down a lot because the team itself has been done pretty awfully of late. You've really got to wonder how a team can be much worse than us, let alone two of them.

No info on our website at all, we really do look a shambles of a club at times.

I don't think we've ever announced how many season tickets we've sold in the 18 years I've been supporting us. Obviously it's never been many but still it would be nice to know.

Still no announcenent on ours..

It would be good if we got something sorted, but like I said on stagsnet, it's not like the season starts next week.

Maybe the club are giving fans a few weeks off before announcing it, after last seasons shambolic effort

The club has announced that we've sold "close to 2,000 season tickets" at the end of the early bird discount.

The Club have said they've sold over 1000 so far.

Will season ticket sales be higher in all seater stadiums, as you need to secure a decent seat?

Is it really that scientific?

In the absence of an early bird discount, most of our 1,000 + sold so far will be to main stand fans securing their regular seat. The next peak will be those seeking best choice of seats as sales open to everyone next week. For those of us on the terraces, the only motivation to buy before August will be convenience or habit.

...and proper clubs have discounts. Surely if you don't buy a ST (at Exeter) you'll have to pay more on a daily basis?

We have 3 sales windows: Earlybird ran until mid March. Primetime ends in 2 weeks and Anytime runs to the start of the season. £40 increase in each category.

I presume you also have a window when you can keep the same seats as last season - or do you have to do early bird to get that guarantee?

This is the first season I can remember without a discount - another benefit of the Man U matches, that you missed out on, is that for the first time in living memory we'll go through the summer with cash in the bank. We are getting a bit more business like in terms of finances but need to catch up in fan relations.

We don't need the cashflow this year (but I'm sure we will again). There is no significant cost saving for the club (o'draft costs, interest, etc) so it was a back door way of increasing income whilst claiming to "freeze" ticket prices and has caused some discord. I'd have been happy to pay a bit more and want the club to have more income but would have preferred the PR to be better handled. For now, the goodwill built up by our chairman is carrying us through these repeat PR stumbles but we need to do better. I'm not sure how much more "proper" I want us to be but this'll do for now.

Our seats are reserved until I think the end of the primetime period at the end of this month, although I'm not 100% sure about that. If we've already sold 4,400 as of a couple of weeks ago, I'd say the vast majority of those who were season ticket holders have already renewed anyway. I've had the same seat for 15 years.

Luton have now sold close to 5,500 season tickets so far for the new season, which is probably more than this stage last season, which I think was a record (5,600 in total last year). And that's with a 10% increase in prices and more sold outside the cheaper earlybird period. Great support - its 60% of our home capacity sold already.

We're making more money than the Royal Mint.

Dunno but our Early Bird discount has expired and didn't get extended so guessing we're doing ok all things considered.

My views are strong on the season ticket pricing at Notts County FC, very strong. Nice to see the early bird discount back, although its a f***ing shame of an offering, and a clever but sneeky approach by the Chairman! Just cos its not been extended means f**k all in my eyes in terms of likely sales, due to the inept running of the club when it comes to ST and Match day pricing and offers. The phrase 'taking the piss' springs to mind after a relegation and the fact you can count the number of home league wins last season on one hand. Yep £390 - 420 for a ST, sounds perfectly fine to me for L2. *****
