Remind me again how Lincoln went from barely averaging 4k on a good day to shifting 6k STs
Working hard to encourage locals who didn't support the team to come to sincil bank, mixed with some success it has kept them invested.

Exactly that. Fa cup run and success, alongside the club seemingly being run in a very good way, saying the right things and communicating well to capture people through the gates. Lincoln and surrounding catchment area does continue to grow, and crowds have been increasing (and apart from covid season), average around 8700 for a good number of years. Always going to be interesting if our crowds keep up with cost of living and lack of fun at home games next season. Pleasantly surprised by those figures!

Winning games so lapsed supporters came back was obviously a biggy. We went a decade without finishing in the top half of a table, and 5 of those were in the NL. When we had decent seasons, we were usually around 5k though (2003-2007).

Lincoln changed hugely in the decade we were poor, though, it's one of the fastest growing Cities in the UK. Too many things happened to mention as well, because everyone would get bored!

I dunno. We're all now deeply invested in the historical merits of Gloucester as a footballing hotbed...

Gem of a city I think whenever I visit for non-footballing reasons (and I only say that because we normally lose).

Lincoln, the only built-up place I know in the UK with a hill more vicious (shorter but steeper) than ours, but at least it's not uphill en route to Sincil Bank from anywhere. Nice city, yes.

We’ve reached 8k season tickets today. I’ve just renewed mine so it’s at least 8001.

Huddersfield is grim for those sort of streets! Was at a christening there recently and had to go up and down a bunch of them to find the church. Horrible!

4th steepest in the UK! Definitely not one to dry in snow/cold night/hot day/drunk i.e. at all.

Walked down it and then up when Lincoln were playing Wigan. There is a great cheese place (Cheese Society) about half way down and a brilliant pub not far away on the main 'drag' which were superb stop off points. Loved Lincoln as a City, it's a really nice place.

Straight and Narrow I'm guessing, on the left on the way down just before the top of high street.

4500 sold so far, 2 more early bird days to go so hopefully hit around 5k similar to last season.

Currently shifted 5100 which by the time the weekend has finished should be way beyond what we did last year. Certainly encouraging I feel. Be making a decent sum from corporates as well now as have just opened a new hospitality suite as well.

Looks awesome the Robbie Williams Suite does as well.

That 5100 is excluding hospitality so likely to end up nearer 6000 come end of play Saturday which is excellent, shows we have hooked a few from the play off's and last few home games.

We should be getting 12k when the bigger boys come to town. I reckon even some of the smaller clubs we might get 7 or 8k which is fairly decent.

Wednesday and Derby will sell whatever number you give them - those will be a home sell-outs as well surely?

Not necessarily, depends how we work the away end as we may swap it over so they’d get less but can’t see a sell out for them. Plus we’ve got the ground issues to be resolved limiting the capacity.

I doubt it. Historically as a fanbase we don't get excited about League One sides coming to Vale Park, whoever they are.

We should sell around 6k ST’s in total which will be a decent effort. I think our crowds / fan base could potentially start to increase if we continue to do well and progress.

As I’ve said before, we’ve definitely ‘lost’ fans over the last ten or even twenty years or so. Vale have been a laughing stock in the local area for about a decade, I think we are slowly becoming more attractive. It’s imperative we do consolidate / do well in this league now.
