Bradford giving season tickets away need to sell 15000 at 149 to gain more revenue on sales than chesterfield if we have 5000. We all remember their 6k gates when in the play offs 20 yrs ago ian ormandroyd days. I bet they end up with 11 of the 15k turning up rest getting free tickets and us turning more over.

Nice one. A lot has happened since those play offs; promotions, Premier League, League Cup final.

Its called building a fan base. I'd much rather sit in a crowd of 15,000, than 5,000 irrespective of how much is brought in.

Some football supporters are stupid. They moan about ticket prices. Bradford come up with a way of making it cheaper for fans but then they get mocked for doing it. Strange really. Or is it just 'banter' ? That seems to be the excuse amongst supporters for stupidity nowadays.

Couldnt agree more bradfords pricing is brilliant cant get my head round why you would slag it off. On the other hand bradford should and probably will sell 15k at that price.

Oh yeah totally , Bradford should sell that amount at that price IMO , they are a decent sized club so probably shouldn't be as giddy as they are about it but then again it's still only league one and we wouldn't sell that many , even at that price , haven't got a big enough ground for starters lol. I'd certainly be bragging about the pricing if I was them tho , would love my season ticket to be that cheap.

So would every other fan if they were honest.
Don't wanna sound like a mardy cos I love a bit of football banter but just think this is the sort of thing football fans should stick together over , we get fleeced week on week by football clubs up and down the country , they know we will pay it because we are loyal , so when clubs do make it cheaper for all their fans to be able to see their team play it should be applauded not mocked.

Renewed mine today. Lots of newcomers at the ground too.

We have a hardcore support of around 8k and the rest are dependent on success etc. if we were in the championship we would get 20k. I think the idea is bigger the crowd the better chance of success we have. To have nearly 20k fans every week cheering on a league 1 club will be pretty great.

3 weeks left now. When I was at the ticket office half the people I spoke to were either new or last had a season ticket years ago.

Last time I was in Bradford their chairman chased me down the high street stapling free season tickets to my coat.

True story.

Half of how many, 4?

I'm also curious. Did Spike just talk to the person in front and behind, which is mildly acceptable, or did he traverse the queue like a local news reporter asking people their length of fandom?

I'm fooking glad I bought mine online.

It was because I turned up early and a few were milling about asking what time it opened etc. Being a normal person, you get talking with people including a couple that were buying new tix for them plus some for their kids and a few mates etc.

Being an abnormal person I usually check the opening times online before I head down so obviously I miss all this.

You are going to have to build a bigger stadium.

Doesn't the 12,000 include flexi card holders as well?
