Just realised there was no thread.

Our game with MK Dons yesterday was a 1-1 hammering. For 20-25 mins at the start we were fantastic and deservedly took the lead. Kioso should have then been sent off for a nasty challenge on Liam Sercombe (in real time I actually didn't think it was a red, so sympathise with the ref). He wasn't and then went on to have a blinder. MK then battered us for the next 65 mins and missed chance after chance, including a couple that I'd have been embarrassed to miss. It really looked like it was going to be our day, but in the 87th minute they finally got the goal they deserved and the game petered out.

A harsh lesson was learnt yesterday, we can't expect to hold on for about 70 mins. Going 5-4-1 at the start of the second half properly killed any attacking intent we had.

I'll take the point though.

It really sounds like we’d have thrashed you had we not needed to play our 4th choice striker.

I'm pleased for Boateng though, after not being given a squad number at the start of the season he’s taken the chances both Lewington and Manning have given him and he looks like a totally new player.

I’m not so sure. Had you scored one of your earlier ones I’m not sure you’d have been so dominant.

When we got the lead we immediately went into defensive mode and seemed to say come on then break us down, and it nearly worked.
