Good month for us potentially, got 4 winnable games coming up and then a tough one against Orient who will hopefully has lost some momentum by then.

Barnet (H) - Win
Dagenham (H) - Win
York (A) - Draw
Newport (H) - Win
Orient (A) - Lose

Fuck it, going for the optimistic prediction. 10 points.

12pts out of 15, and knocked out of both cups.
Possibly an overly optimistic prediction, but I think those league fixtures are very winnable this month and with 3 home fixtures I'm expecting a decent month.

You'd think this month would be a good way of telling whether we'll be relegation fodder, mid-table or play-offs contenders. Got to be getting at least 2 wins out of those league fixtures, I'll definitely be getting worried if we don't.

Stevenage away- Win
Wycombe away- Draw
Bristol Rovers home- Hard fought win/draw
Mansfield away- win
Barnet home- win

I'll be wrong, but bar Wycombe I think we can get maximum points.

8 points out of 15, average return, but only one loss. but If we beat Mansfield we will lose at Yeovil for a 7 point haul.

Blimy, another one of those months where we won't get anything apparently. :2thumb:

5 from 5.

Though entirely possible, none of the home sides fill be with dread (watch all 3 win now)

The 2 away games are hard, we don't really do well at luton, and Stevenage are one of those poxy clubs that will hopefully go back to where they belong soon where we never win at, and it'll be infront of about 7 people

7/15 - Things are looking better than last month in terms of fixtures on paper, but Portsmouth and Plymouth are undoubtedly really tough games.

Bad month ahead for us. We give away goals left right and centre and it will really bite us hard this month, we can't keep relying on Ibehre's goals to get us out of trouble. I think some of our fans are living on cloud cuckoo if they think we're all of a sudden going to start putting back to back wins together just because we won 3-2 at Hartlepool. They need to wake up and smell the shite, while we defend like we do, we won't put a run of wins together. Simple as that.

I also think the upcoming game at Anfield will start playing on some players minds and they might take their eye off the important stuff.

So 4 points from September and out of 2 cup competitions. That will put us on 10 points overall come the end of September which will leave us scrapping round the bottom.

Much, much tougher month for us fixture-wise. The worst side we're playing is probably Exeter, and they're not exactly mugs. Going to have to be cautious and go for:

Barceluton A JPT - who cares
Exeter A - win
Cambridge A - win
Wycombe H - win
Northampton A - really narrow win
Jabo H - injure Jabo in the first two minutes and win

For some reason, games between us and Orient have always been high-scoring affairs, and on this occasion we're actually the two highest scoring teams in the division (although don't know if we'll still be then).

I think Orient are going to beat us 17-16

Ok, I'm insanely pessimistic! We have a hard September, Exeter, Cambridge, Wycombe and Northampton will all have promotion aspirations and I don't particular want to Jonah anything. Realistically 9/15 would be an excellent, title champions, return I think.

Wycombe in particular I've seen this season, really like the look of them. I think that they have the best left hand side in this league, we play primarily down our right, should be a good match up.

You won't be saying that when you get the pleasure of witnessing their antics first hand.

Say hi to Ingram for me.

Haha you're almost as pessimistic as me! I think we'll pick up some decent results once Corr is back.

Dagenham(h) - lose (we'll probably drop more of our first XI)
Luton(h) - lose
Leyton Orient(h) - draw
Hartlepool(a) - win
Stevenage(h) - draw
Wycombe(a) - win

I think we're going to be a better away team than home team this year once Corr is back. Just too much pressure at home.

Exeter (A) - JPT game so don't care but think our reserves are stronger than theirs. WIN
Accrington (H) - Hopefully won't be complacent like we were against Morecambe. WIN
Barnet (H) - They have Akinde up front and N'Gala at the back so we should win this one! WIN
Oxford (A) - We've come through some tough away games but the Appleton and Taylor factor makes me think we'll draw. DRAW
Bristol Rovers (A) - Another tough game but one we should be looking to win. WIN
Exeter (H) - Can see us dropping points here for some reason. DRAW

That's overly optimistic but that Luton result has made me think we're capable of doing very well this season.

This is a pretty tough month for us, I think Stevanage away is always going to be a tough match, so if we can get a scrappy 1-0 win I will be happy... Wycombe are a brilliant side and I think they will be too organised and get a comfortable 2-0 win... Rovers are a good team and with the form they are in I can I see this being a draw... Mansfield, same as the gas and it is away... Barnet I can see us getting a comfortable win if they stay in the same form they are in now.

I think 8 or 9 out the possible 15 with those fixtures would be a good return and hopefully by October we will still be challenging for an automatic place!

I'm not particularly liking the look of these:

Newport (A) - Really need a win here. 0-2 win.
Stevenage (A) - We never do anything against this lot, 0-0 bore draw.
Carlisle (H) - We'll get beat 2-3 or something daft.
Notts Co (A) - Fancy us to randomly get something here, 0-1.
Oxford (H) - We'll get battered by Roofe et al, 1-3 loss.

That's probably slightly optimistic and would have us on 11 points after 10 games, close to relegation form.

We'll lose some games in the last minute, and probably throw away a 2 goal lead to boot. Yay
