Let's see if he really will leave European football at that time if he is in a good phase. 31 it's not that young but also not that old considerating a football player age in activity so if until there he's on a carreer apex it will be a tough decision to let the European football visibility behind. Anyway it would be very nice to have Aguero in South American club competitions again.

Imagine having that talent and never playing for a big club.

What do you mean by "big club"

Surely City is a big club? And if you say no because of their history, than Independiente would be a big club in that case.

Saw this yesterday, great news for City fans really. The chances of him being swayed by the likes of Real (possibly Bayern I suppose) go right down the pan really unless he went this summer, so they've got him sorted for the long term.

on the other hand they lose him for nothing when he walks away at the end of his £220k a week deal. not that it matters financially to the slave owners of course

Take in to account market inflation, and the fact Aguero is as good as/better than most of those players, and... yeah.

Tevez, 31 at 6M.

If a South American says they want to go back to their childhood club, they'll do whatever it takes. My best guess is Aguero wants to win the Libertadores with Independiente which is probably why he wants to go back at such a young age.

Yeah, South Americans really are ungrateful mercenaries. Coloccini even went as far as fucking another bird and breaking up his marriage in his quest to return home to his old club. Disgraceful. Shame he didn't succeed mind.

I've literally never seen JJ make a sarcastic post in my life

For some reason, thought Cech was much older than that. He still 5 years of top football to deliver for sure.

I can see Aguero playing for either Barcelona or Real Madrid when he realises what a shit manager Pellegrini is. We'll probably buy him for 100M€ when he's ravaged by injuries. He's the next Zlatan really.

bearing in mind how injury prone he is now he'll only play less and less as he ages i'd suggest his career wont be as long as some other players. Fair play to him giving City 4 years to find a replacement if he does indeed leave then
