Apparently Shanghai were willing to pay Rooney £641,000 after tax to money to China last summer

A: If Piers Morgan told me the grass was green, I'd go to the window to take a look.

B: If they were offering him that, they'd have been offering the club silly money too. They would have taken it. And so would he.
