I have a season written up and ready to go after NOTW is finished.

I'm currently planning team sheep instead, The Olympics idea is quite hard because of the topics. I'm ruling myself out of the next season. Maybe the season after.

As much as I agree that This Charming Mike didn't discuss answers with others, and you know I love you Mike, if a rule is in place, that rule must stand.

That rule was no editing 1 hour before the deadline. You can't then allow edits.

It doesn't make a huge deal of difference in the grand scheme of things because Mike's already won the league, but I would feel a little peeved if I was Dave right now!

Right, so I was out yesterday in the middle of sheep and later on got caught up with Football Manager, so I'll do my update now.

No need to explain my answer for the actress.

I don't know any chocolate bars in the UK, so I went for one of my personal favourites from Peru. Cua-Cua.

I went for Azerbaijan, Israel, and Kazakstan because they are part of UEFA. Close enough right?

Finally, I began taking my answers seriously at the end. The river had to be the Nile.

It may not affect the League but it certainly affected the Cup (for both myself and Dave). I don't think either of us should miss out.

Well this was a bit of a farce, wasn't it?

To be honest, I'd had a long day yesterday, was pissed off anyway for reasons outside the forum, and my reaction was fuck it, I can't be arsed to deal with this I'm just getting it over with.

I do believe it's unfair to penalise Mike for what was clearly just an innocent mistake, and not what the rule was designed to prevent, and I was trying to show a bit of common sense in allowing him the change. But I did clearly state no edits after 3, it was the same for everyone, and so to go back on that rule (and in hindsight it wasn't very well thought through, it was always more likely to lead to a situation like this than stop people discussing answers) would be unfair to everyone else.

So retrospectively, and I'm sorry Mike, I'm not going to allow you the edit. As I've said I don't think it's fair, but given the rules as they were there isn't really any choice. So Dave progresses through to the cup final against Veggie Legs and Stagat takes the round win. I'll update all the tables now.

Safe to say, I'm scrapping this edit rule for the final round!
