Well, this looks like it'll be a barrel of laughs. One team that expected to be going up but probably isn't against another team that is going down. Oh joy.

New signing Daniel Udoh might come straight into the squad because Marcus Haber is away on international duty. Not really bothered what we do, won't make any difference. Going because I've already got train tickets booked.

As for Sheff U, depends which Sheff U turn up. They seem to range from awful to awesome with nothing in between.

We are consistently shit, but Sheff U are just inconsistent. Expecting this to be an easy home win, score first and we'll just wave the white flag. 2-0 home win.

Sheff U to batter Crewe for 89 minutes, Garrett to have a "worldie" in goal, Crewe to actually convert their last minute penalty.

0-1 ! :)

Got a feeling we might just take all the points here.

A typical United display, some decent football mixed in with some utter crap. Should have been over before half time, Garrett kept Crewe in it, and despite being pretty average for the first part of the second half, the second goal should have killed it. But for some reason, we feel the need to switch off totally, and once the first went in you just knew the second one was going to come.

I'm relieved we got the winner as the atmosphere was turning toxic, and a lovely goal to win it set up by the kids. And I suppose it keeps us hoping that we may work a miracle and make the top six, but there isn't the collective desire to put in 90 minute performances, and without that we've no chance.

Crewe, I'm sorry to say, were really poor. Showed a bit of fight, yes, but there is no way they'll get out of the relegation zone.

Feel like I'm in the movie Groundhog Day.

Coventry, Gillingham, Doncaster, Swindon, Southend, Blackpool, Sheff Utd. All games where we had winning or drawing positions late in the game, but lost 6 of them and drew the other. The amount of points we have thrown away is staggering. We are fucking abysmal. Words can't describe how shit we are. That first half was a disgrace to football. 2nd half we showed more life and got back into the game, but still threw it away because we have clueless morons on the sidelines and a bunch of spineless, gutless cowards on it. Sad thing is, that finish was neither surprising nor disappointing. Seen it too many times to be disappointed or angry now.

This group is awful, staggeringly bad, they keep finding new and interesting ways to lose games. League Two next season is going to be a riot.

Bottom of the league, 6 wins, 1 win in 18. No question of Davis keeping his job. It's fucking insane.

Bright side: that Garratt save in the first 5 minutes.

And Ainley, he's good. I like him a lot.
