To be honest, we're a bit out of sorts at the moment, and have been for a month or so. We don't really look like hitting the heights that we did in October, and one or two of super Frank's selections have been a bit questionable to be fair.

With Norwich away Saturday too, we'll probably be happy with 2/3 points out of the two games, and hope to get into the new year still in the top six with the chance of bolstering the squad to push on for the rest of the season.

Then again, it'll probably be a right end to end humdinger with the Blades edging it.

We've not won back to back games since the start of October, inconsistency has kicked in fully, we desperately need a couple of other attacking options brought in, in january to help us keep a top 6 spot alive, we also need to starting picking points up more often against the better sides.

Jesus were actually winning a game we don't deserve to be and not the other way round for once. No doubt it won't last, derby look impressive but maybe the goal hopefully takes the sting out of them.

You were far from poor 1st half, you were way better than us and deserved to be winning never mind losing, completely bossed you 2nd half though, most blatant sending off and pen we should have had too and maybe would have been a lot more. Immense free kick again but to be fair you never got near us 2nd half. Proper game of football, great passion from players,manager and fans too, not often I say that.

It's all well and good looking pretty for 20 minutes but we just didn't capitalise. Didn't deserve to go in 1-0 down but not sure we deserved to be winning either.

Second half we didn't have a sniff though you're right. Thought McGoldrick went down like a pansy but wouldn't have argued if it had been given. Carson is always in the thick of it at your place, what the fuck was the back pass decision all about. Bizarre.

I was sat on the Kop today, in the 1st half a few near me were saying how Derby looked good. Agree they looked good playing a nice controlled possession game but they reminded me of us with their over passing and lack of penetration.

Thought first half was pretty even (Derby controlled more of the half but we had the better chances), so felt a bit fortunate going in 1-0 up at half time.
Also was worried because (apart from Reading away) our 2nd half performances tend to be weaker than our 1st half performances.

Thought we started the 2nd half well, looked a penalty, although McGoldrick did go down easily, our crowd usually make more noise morning/ booing compared to cheering. So when Derby immediately equalised after the penalty refusal our fans were furious.

It became the turning point because our fans suddenly really got behind the team making loads of noise. We upped our game/ attacking intent and deservedly went ahead 2-1.

Then we scored another late goal, which maybe flattered us but there’s no doubt we deserved to win. Best atmosphere I’ve known for a long long time, reminded me of the old days when we could make Bramall Lane a hostile place to visit.

Regards Derby, was impressed with their nice playing style but they were too nice and maybe naeve. They reminded me a little of us, no penetration or urgency with lots of side ways and backwards passing. Enjoyed the game very much thanks to Derby positivity making it an open entertaining game.
