Sheffield United v Gillingham - 27th September
The Blades go into this game as favourites after their good run of form lately, with an away win at Premiership West Ham United and back to back home wins against Rochdale and Crawley Town. Meanwhile Gillingham go into this fixture currently lying in 12th position with only conceding 2 goals in their last 5 league games. Taylor the Gillingham manager will be hoping for a repeat performance of their previous encounter to Bramall Lane having won by 2 goals to 1 last year in November.
The Blades will be hoping to improve their defence as recently they have let in 8 goals in 2 matches away from home which says it all.
There are currently no injury concerns Gillingham. As for United, Baxter and Cambell-Ryce are doubtful to start on the weekend.
My prediction is that it will be Sheffield United 3-1 Gillingham. UTB
