The Wednesday
After a much improved performance on Saturday against Wigan I'm quite confident we can win this, but Bristol City are a better side than last season and have made some good signings over the summer. Don't think it's two evenly matched teams though I think we're a stronger side, and if we're serious about going for promotion it's a game we should be winning. Expect maybe a change or two from Saturday, Reach for Wallace, wouldn't mind seeing Buckley given a chance he's looked good when coming off the bench.

Hmm. Unless we have a real off day, (which you never know with us) I cant see us being "brushed aside" neither should we expect to be. Nobody has a divine right to beat anybody in this division which I think most people appreciate! :)

Anyway, first game following from Milan for me. At least I wont be waking up at 5am in a cold sweat to check the result anymore!

Hmm not sure on the starting line up. Looking to be alot tighter by the looks of it. Time for Brownhill to state a claim.

2-0 defeat with that line up. Odd to play 3 defensive midfielders against Wednesday compared to one against Norwich, Newcastle and Villa.

Enjoy the three points you weird Yorkshire bastards. Lack of creativity in that midfield.

Wouldn't class Brownhill as a DM from what we've seen of him so far. I actually quite like that team, good move to put Pack in there against their strong midfield and happy to see O'Dowda start. If April was anything to go by the place to exploit this Weds side is down the wings

No way we get Tammy in on loan or permanently next season, not if he carries on like this.

Boy am I glad there's no recall clause for Chelsea. We've got this guy for the season :bg1:

What's happening at Sheff Wed at the moment? Look a shadow of the team they were last season.

Carvahal making a change right before half time giving Johnson 15 mins to react to it, generous of him.

Not watching or listening but stats seem to suggest we deserve our lead.

Expect an onslaught now. Next goal to them and they'll win it, same for us.

How was that Sheffield Wednesday red given? Last man, genuine attempt (slip) and penalty given, new rules say no red

According to our commentator because there was no attempt to play the ball under the rules it's still a red.

Fucks sake, game should be dead and buried now. If we let this slip after Rotherham on Sat it'll be hard to take

Genuine attempt only applies to inside the penalty area I believe.

Wednesday have had to take a striker off at least to restore their defence.
