5 games left and the first of 2 very tough encounters in 4 days.

We're without 4 of what I would describe as key players. Exeter come on a great run, we've won our last 5 so hopefully it'll be a good game.

I think we'll play 4-4-2 in a diamond. Personally I'd go 3-5-2 and play Sharpe at LB and Demi at left centre half. It's probably time for Southern and/or Vernon to step up to the plate.

6666 as a crowd prediction with about 500 from Exeter.

Huge game for us.

Win and we are real play-off contenders, lose and we may as well start booking our summer holidays.

Will be a seriously contended match. 4-4 the final result.

If shrewsbury play as bad as they did at mansfield it will be a draw because they were quite good at the back, apart from the blatant penalty.

Having had Weslowski and Percival out since January for the rest of the season, we now have Goldson (CB) and Woods (CM) starting 2 match suspensions which is why us Shrewsbury fans are a tad concerned as Exeter and Bury will be difficult opposition. Whilst we should still be expected to achieve an automatic promotion spot in the final 5 games, it seriously weakens any challenge for the title!

Sounds like it's gonna be another decent crowd. Really looking forward to this one.

Should be a great game given the form of both teams of late.

A draw would be nice please grecians! Although if I'm honest I look for bury's and Southends results first of late.

I'm looking forward to this one. The game at our place was brilliant (3-2 win) so let's hope for a similar result.

Amazing run of late to get back in the mix. The Luton result seems to have given you belief. It's always seems the late runner that storms the play offs...

Just got to get ourselves in there somehow. I'm hopeful but realistic about our chances.

Our next 3 games are:
Shrewsbury a (2nd)
Wycombe a (3rd)
Southend h (5th)

We got 7 points off those 3 in the reverse fixtures earlier this season but being played consecutively, doing so again will probably be more difficult.

A playoff final against Plymouth is the dream in these parts.

Well that was a thoroughly convincing win. Didn't expect much as we've not played well with a midfield diamond most of the season, but totally outplayed Exeter.

Can't help but think they got their tactics wrong today. Teams that have pressed us hard have had a bit of success, but they seemed content letting us have the ball. Fair play to Exeter for sticking to their footballing principles, but the last team to try that here was Bury!

Wow, what a performance. To produce that without our 2 best centre halves and 2 of our 3 best cm's was mightily impressive.

Southern was absolutely superb. That goal at the end by Barnett will live long in the memory. Just a shame everyone else at the top won!

Our tactics did it for us unfortunately.

There's setting out solid and there's setting out negatively and unfortunately we were very much the latter. One shot on target in the whole game from us and that even that was a shot outside the box. Shrewsbury were 1000 times better than us in every area and it really was a reality check going there and getting beaten so easily. Why oh why didn't we just stick with the 4-3-3. I get that JMT was injured but even so it should have been just a like for like swap with Bennett. Taking out Alex Nicholls for a defender and going 5 at the back just invited pressure. We should have at least stuck to our way of playing and had a go. Tis perhaps tried to be too clever for this one.

Haven't seen us outclassed like that in a very long time
