Does every team have a player who was signed for a shitload of money but has hardly ever been seen?

I ask because we have Razak Boukari who was signed shortly after the end of the Korean War but is constantly injured. He is now "one week away from starting full training", a status that I am sure has been announced numerous times before. The guy is said to be talented, but whether that is at jousting, table tennis or poetry, fuck knows.

I don't mean players whose careers ended through injury but players whose careers appear to have started that way.

We have Vadis Odijdja-Ofoe who signed in the summer and has barely played. Always seems to be a couple of weeks away from getting back to fitness before another set back. I don't think I'd recognise him if I bumped into him in the street.

Anton Ferdinand - Played a grand total of 48 minutes for us this season as he keeps getting small injuries putting him out for like a month at a time. The worst part is that from the little we've seen of him he is quality for this division.

Danny Guthrie seems to come and go very regularly over the past two seasons. Obviously we have Jem Karacan in recovery from a 15 month injury but early signs haven't been too good. Played 8 minutes for the seniors as well as two 45 minutes for the reserves and broken down again.

Another frustrating one was Daniel Carrico who we signed last time we were in the Prem. Made 3 cameo appearances, probably totalling less than 90 minutes. I believe we were unbeaten in all 3 games, and he was able to hold off the whole Liverpool midfield but was never fit. We did sign him after he had been in/out from injures for a couple of years at Sporting, but since we loaned then sold him he's been made first choice for Sevilla, won the Europa League and been getting great reviews, surprised he hasn't made the Portugal squad yet.

George Thorne - £2m and did his ACL 3 days after signing. He's been on the bench last couple of games, but not made his debut yet since signing permanently. Hopefully he doesn't get another sick-note any time soon!

It's a shame about Razak as you say, hope he is given his chance when he's ready. I fear Tommy Rowe is in a similar situation, hardly seen him since he signed.

A good proportion of our squad.

Justin Hoyte was signed nearly 18 months ago and hasn't been seen in over a year. Hasn't been injured or anything.

Similarly, Angel Martinez was brought in in September and has only made a handful of appearances.

Nicky Bailey has spent more time on Twitter talking shit with his wife than he has minutes in a Millwall shirt.

James Vaughan wins this award, would be a Premier League player if it wasn't for his legs.

Mark Davies was permanently injured with us too, shame because he was always regarded as a very talented player when he was playing.

I remember both Holden and Davies were solid PL midfielders, quite a few clubs were sniffing around Davies when you went down. Shame you can't get them in the team

We've got Dejan Kelhar, signed him at the beginning of the season on a 6 month deal. Got injured almost immediately putting him out for 6 months,we've signed him on another 6 month deal in January but still hasn't even made the bench yet.
