So the customary injury news: Compton is now out for a month.

With Jeffers also starting his 3 game suspension our squad is nearing record levels of threadbare-ness (has any professional team in recent times started a game with only 13 fit players?). Wakefield and Sokolik face late fitness tests tomorrow which could double our options on the bench.

We played excellently in the first half last week, even after going down to 10, and hoping for a similar start Saturday against an inconsistent Wimbledon side. Unfortunately I can only see us running out of steam again.

1-2, Wombles winner coming in the last 5 minutes.

Last season if you were on a bad run then your were gifted a win against us. I hope not but I can see this happening again. Either 1 all or 2. 1. Home win.

Can you not get a few free agents / loans through the door just as extra bodies , I can't remember a club having such an injury crisis at any point let alone at the start of a season.

How is Jeffers doing ? He didn't do much with us last season. Of the many players we let go I was v surprised he got a league club tbh.

I was impressed with the Dons last week. Think you were unlucky to not get all 3 points to be honest.

How many seats do you give away fans as we have sold out the seats. Hope it does not rain now as I am on terrace.

RefWatch; Ref for Yeovil game is Lee Swabey, 31, from Plymouth. Looks like a thin Johnny Hartson. First season as a FL ref. Does it for 'the buzz' according to a shite Guardian interview which doesn't merit a link. 'Means the world the me', he says. Jesus, you're just the bloody ref, not Pele. Highly regarded by 'the powers that be' apparently - earmarked for the Prem. Has his own coach & sports psychologist! Must be brilliant then. Never reffed Wombles or Yeovil. Hates the scum. Never reffed them. Hates them. In 5 L2 games this season he has given 10 Y & 2 R - average.
AnagramWatch; Lee Swabey = Bye Weasel.

Comfortable away win and plenty of cider will be drunk. Before and after the footy.
1st visit to Yeovil since the 1976/77 season in ou 3rd Southern premier division championship

We've signed Jake Howells on loan from Luton as cover yesterday, but Sturrock has made it clear he's very close to the top of the budget. There's a huge amount of disquiet amongst the fans as it seems the board are far more interested in throwing money at (frivolous) planning applications rather than focusing on the field.

How is Jeffers doing ? He didn't do much with us last season. Of the many players we let go I was v surprised he got a league club tbh.

He's a mixed bag, causes defenders problems with his pace and movement, and has decent hold-up play but just doesn't ever really look like scoring - not a great trait for a striker...

This is how bad the injury crisis is at Huish Park - the ref has gone off injured.

The call has gone out for a registered FA referee or linesman to make themselves known.

The draw was the right result. Bad to average game, neither side were very good. Two more injuries will cripple us even more.

Bugger and arse.
We bowl into a town where half the population has gone down with either, Dysentry, Swine Flu, SARS Typhoid, The Plague,Polio.Diptheria, Ebola and Rickets.
Yeovil bring on farmer Giles' decrepid dying 3 legged dog as their 3rd sub ... And we still can't beat them.

Bollocks. Yeah I suppose a draw was a fair result in the end.
One more thing,.... You need a pub closer to the station. Somebody could make a killing from the passing away fan trade

There was a pub near the station, full of Dons fans. But mules from the ground...

Yup, the Royal Oak. We went there after the match.

Not very impressed by the cab firms in Yeovil. The two we ordered whilst on the train didn't turn up due to heavy traffic. They were allocated to other jobs and no-one bothered to call us. On the way back, only one of the two we ordered was waiting for us.

Anyway back to the football. We should have won but missed chances again. Also we shipped a shit goal. Unbeaten away but more dull draws.

The Royal Oak was a good 20 minute walk from the station.
20 minutes???
FFS. .... That's 3 pints wasted.
Even railway lines that have closed down still have pubs where the old stations were.

I thought we played really well yesterday - created lots of chances and played with a little bit of confidence.
A little bit more luck in the final the third and we would have coasted to a victory.

Yeovil looked like a team out of form and to be honest I didn't think that they really put us under any pressure.

We were a bit narrow at times, but I liked the way Rigg and Azeez came on and really stretched the game.

There were a lot of positives for sure - once we really click, we'll be difficult to play against.

You went to the Royal Oak in Stoford? Fair play.

It's crap how we haven't got a train station near the town centre. The one that was there closed in the 60s (thanks Dr. Beeching). Even Pen Mill station is 30 mins walk from the ground.
