Don't you dare tell me what to do. Don't even dream of stepping to me, bruv.

How about you and your fellow fans get battered by the police and see how it feels?

Didn't think so.

Less of that or i'll tell my boys in the met to rough you up again.

Hope Nelson plays, our strikers would love playing against him. Assuming Bradenton and omozusi are fit I'd go 352 Beasent legge Roberts Taft at the back with omozusi and dunk as wing backs. Berry Newton and Hughes with Simpson and blyth up top or 442 with Beasent in goal back 4 of omozusi legge Roberts Taft and midfield of Newton berry Hughes dunk and blyth Simpson up top. If omozusi is injured, we CANT play Taylor, we must play Newton at RWB and move Donaldson or morrisey into the middle.

Nelson won't be starting, it will a centre-back pairing of N'gala and Dembele.

Can't go within 3 miles of the game cause of a banning order. Which I guess would be lucky for you, if you wanted to be so disrespectful in person.
Does that mean that you couldn't go to Wembley stadium if you wanted to?

We'll have to put up with more moaning and groaning after tomorrow's game, I suspect.

Personally, I don't think we've improved on last seasons squad but admittedly, I'm basing that on the only game I've witnessed so far - Bristol Rovers away.

I always felt we were a fairly weak Conference champions last season so without strengthening, I'd place us in the lower reaches of the table. 3 points from 4 games against what appear on paper to be amongst the strongest teams in the division has to be kept in context and is not a disastrous return.

Once we've come up against some of the sides we should be aiming to finish above, we can make a realistic assessment of our chances of top half/mid-table/relegation scrap etc.

I'd say that Luisma is the player we really haven't replaced. As we are, we're a pretty workaday side.
On the plus side, Luke Gambin looks like he's going to be a much bigger part of our side this season than last season or the season before that come to think of it.
The forthcoming games against Carlisle, Stevenage and Dagenham will be more of an accurate measure of how well we measure up to this division.

Corr is still injured according to his Twitter page and the rest of our team have shown very little firepower without him.

Therefore I'm predicting a comfortable 3-0 win to defy logic and to continue our crazy start to the season.

Barry Corr isn't on twitter. I have a feeling he'll make the bench and get the winner stepping off the bench with 15 mins to go.

As I said, he's not on Twitter.
Your comment was largely irrelevant given the point of my post was to tell you he was injured via info on Twitter.

Been pretty even so far although we've hit the bar twice.

We had a blatant penalty turned down, clearest handball you'll ever see.

They've been given I'll say that. Oddly enough for a match where the bar was hit thrice and there were two efforts cleared off the line, a lot of the match was pretty dull.

Poor performance from us again. Barnet were probably the better side and definitely had more good chances than us. That said, definite handball in first few minutes of the game, no idea how that wasn't given as a penalty.

We're having a very slow start at the moment and the fact we're on 8 points is a miracle frankly. Got some major improving to do.

Bit unlucky from both sides today. How we didn't score I don't know with all those chances, but it looks like there was a handball early on (didn't see it myself, too far away). Perhaps we shaded it.

Cambridge looked fairly ordinary, does Corr add much more to your attack? The right winger looked fairly tricky (yellow boots, don't remember his number). Not Donaldson though, he was naff.

Thought our defence were imperious today - Dembele and Johnson will get the plaudits but Bondz was a rock too. Gash has put that weight back on though and Hoyte just didn't seem that good. Defences are also much smarter around Akinde up here, which is a shame.

Cambridge midfield looked good but up front and at the back they were suspect. Probably the worst so far for dealing with balls into their box and we really should've taken advantage.
Thought we did ok and grew into the game. Would like to see he handball but overall a Cambridge win would not have been a fair result

I think that was Dunk?

I agree, we didn't deserve to win. We were awful.

Our left winger was Dunk, he was definitely our best player today, even when played as a left back he seemed to be our biggest (only) threat.

Barry Corr seems to be the difference between us looking like scoring and not. We've played 6 games now (inc the league cup). In the 3 he's played, we've scored 9. In the 3 he hasn't played, we've scored none. It's ridiculous frankly.

Dunk is class, Donaldson doesn't deserve a starting place over Newton and Morrisey! Need Beasent in goal as Dunn likes to flap and kick it off the pitch. I was right over the handball appeal and it couldn't have been more of a handball, it wasn't even hidden, it was up above everyone. Ref bottled it! Corr needs to be back, he completes our team and leads the line well.

I think that was Dunk?

Not sure, it was the guy who done the real nice little flick over Johnsons head down near the players tunnel and was generally a nuisance all that first half. Legge in defence was solid too.

Have to say that I did expect a little bit from them to be honest given the rumours of money flying around over the summer, but hey I can't judge on one game.

We've bought one player. It's not like we spunked all/any of our FA cup money on buying players. But it shows us even when we don't play well we can still get a point away from home. When we're good were very hard to beat. Need to find some momentum now and get some form!

Cambridge poor, especially their keeper and strikers.

Both teams should get used to it, we are both in for a long season - neither team would be able to score in open goals.

Good game of football between two awful long ball sides.

Simpson was good up front. We had 2 ESSENTIAL starters out for today, including our striker who would've scored one of Our chances. We only played long ball because u forced us to by pressing high. It says more about u that u can't beat us on a shit day. Shows even though we played shit we can still get a point away. We'll challenge for playoffs. you can't judge us by one game.

I can't recall any chances you created that Corr would have necessarily put away. You had a few shots in the first 20 minutes but in all of them the player who had the opportunity probably did as well as he possibly could with them.
The lack of a midfielder in our squad who can successfully link up play between midfield and attack and give us a bit of flair was evident. Also, yesterday painfully showed up Gash's limitations. For all that he had two efforts cleared off the line from corners, he just doesn't look likely to score from open play.

My bad. You must be promotion challenges in that case.

If I was you, I'd be more worried about how reliant you are on Barry Corr.

That was dire. How Donaldson is still in team I don't know, offers absolutely nothing at the moment. With the illness/injuries we had to play Berry in a deeper role, which is an incredible waste. Barely got into the game. It is clear to see that going forward without Corr is an issue. Taylor is terrible when it comes to long ball, but we opened up your defence several times with some very decent passing in the first half. Dunn amazes me, I've never seen a 'keeper who kicks as badly as he does, very frustrating.

The only positives are we've got minutes into Carr and J Hughes, and that Dunk is continuing with his decent performances. I'm confident this squad is capable of top 7, DD just needs a settled squad to work with. Not sure how long his excuses will last with me though.

Barnet's CBs were very impressive. I think Akinde is going to struggle at this level. Thanks to the steward 'supervisor' who sent us round the ground to the ticket office, when you had the silly system in place at the turnstiles.
