Please don't make me go to Northampton again. Cant Wigan or Wimbledon have some form of collapse, I'd even take a 30 point deduction for Lincoln for no reason
As has been said, it's going to take a 'stars align' type of moment to save us now. Did alright against some of the better teams this year, but took 2 points I think from the the other 5 relegation rivals which is what killed us, including some awful moments like a missed 95th minute penalty and conceding from direct free kick given because of a back pass.

Haven't got a manager sorted yet - currently on caretaker to end of season, and have half a first 11 under contract just like last, so will be all change again next year. At least the Goode sale kept ups solvent during the year.

In theory at least we can mathematically still make the playoffs as daft as that concept would be at least until Tuesday when Newport probably beat Scunny. There is of course zero chance of it actually happening.

I’m suprised to see Bristol Rovers down here. I thought it was going to be an upwards trajectory for them when the new filthy rich owners took over.

Absolute killer goal in stoppage time for AFCW against Dale. Think that seals the fate of them and the Cobblers now.

Kick in the balls for Rochdale but if a score line sums up their season, that was it.

Rochdale have Doncaster and MK to play, Wigan have Hull and Swindon, ACFW have Portsmouth and Lincoln. We'll be resting for the PO's by the time we play them - we need a point to be sure but that's assuming Charlton win their final three.

Wimbledon are safe. Wigan are in form. Bottom 4 confirmed for me.

I think it's right right bottom 4 as well. Rochdale have been flirting with relegation for years, seems like this is the year their magical comeback won't happen.

With my limited knowledge of League One these days think you only have to see the goals against tally for Dale and it's pretty easy to see why they will be back down here. Do believe at first glance three of the four coming down will be very competitive with Swindon being the more questionable due to off field issues which are hopefully sorted asap.

The Conference battle is really hotting up. Not the foregone conclusion for Sutton had assumed it to be all of a sudden though Notts seem to have just imploded sadly.

Oh by the way with Newports win we are now officially here next season.

Notts getting some random PE teacher in or whatever he did has been an epic move

Probably.

However:

Wigan have to go to Hull, who want to win the title and have an 8-0 defeat from last year to avenge.

Mr Twine of Swindon might decide his best bet to escape Wiltshire for next season is to lamp in a hattrick of 35 yard rockets.

Donny Rovers continue their premature aestivation on Saturday.

MK, who when they are good are very good, decide to have an off day a week later.

Unlikely, but possible.

Aye that one has all the hallmarks of an owner trying to be far too clever for his own good and backfiring spectacularly. Not quite Smurthwaite and Bruno Ribeiro bad but it's not a million miles off.

AFC Wimbledon arguably got a lucky escape last year when the season ended prematurely. I was really hoping they’d get relegated this time around.

Well it depends, rochdale and northampton are likely to come down, so that’s more northern sides,

From the south you’ve realistically got one of sutton, hartlepool, stockport or torquay (and torquay is good for the weekend)

Like you though, i’m happy to have a more northern division, proper towns and proper people :P1:

5 or 6? seasons ago we had Torquay away last game of the season and loads went down and had a great day out... then we got them away 1st game of the following season.

It's felt like a very northern league this year too. Would like to see the mileage travelled for us this season compared to previous years.

We're not officially in this yet, but will almost certainly be confirmed League Two on Saturday.

Been a disappointing end to the season, even if we have shown signs of revival.

We'll have Tom Davies on a permanent, cheers.
You'll most likely get him, think he's out of contract.

If his fitness is back though, I'd be surprised if he wanted to stay in L2.

Too bloody northern already. I think we had the second longest mileage this season. For a club just thirty miles from London that seems ridiculous.

Strange that so many northern clubs are struggling down here.

He's missed quite a few games for us, so his fitness is probably still lacking. I didn't realise he was from the North West, so he might be tempted - but I reckon we've only been paying a percentage of his wages. He'll no doubt be a little pricey.

The thing is Monks we are now a Billy big bollocks established EFL club so we can pay whatever the fuck we want, according to last night's cans.
