Brilliant bounce back by Tottenham, this was never going to be easy, the two goals may have been more due to Southampton's generous defence than magnificent forward play by Spurs (though I love the deceptive way Kane "stumbles" his way through defences) but apart from the first twenty minutes this was never in doubt. Top four, who'd of thunk? :2thumb:

Said at the start of the season there was a bit of steel to this Spurs side this year and they probably have been the most consistent side in the league with the exception of Leicester. A title shot may be on if they can keep this up.

If they invest in January, I don't think you're far off actually. They do need another option up front.

Would probably agree with that though Chelsea won the league last year even when Costa dried up so it can be done.

So Spurs finally got into top 4. Their improvement from last seasons is really meaningful and by how they're doing they have chances of getting a place at next CL this time and not just getting stuck at 5th like what happened last season.

Southampton tried to press Spurs in the beginning but created few goal chances which were well stopped by Lloris who was on a good day by the way. Kane's goal came from a very nice play with participation of three players and Walker's assistance to Alli's goal was pretty good too. It wasn't an amazing performance though and both teams were trying but Tottenham had a good organization to keep the score.
