Up against it today I reckon. Two attacking line-ups so should be a good open game.

Good win for Saints, West Ham were poor despite seeing all of the ball. Antonio, Byram and Emenike were awful.

A bad day at the office for us, we didn't play well and didn't deserve anything.

Good win with 10 men for most of the second half against a decent team.

Fraser Forster still hasn't been beaten.

Terrible performance from us, we showed no urgency at all and to be honest didn't really deserve anything out of it.

Don't think either team did well even before the red, but after then with Southampton down to ten they had an excuse. Just shows again that we're really best when counter attacking and struggle somewhat when the onus is on us to take th initiative. Was the same against the ten men of Villa last week and it's been that way all season.

Valencia had a shocker, Moses anonymous yet again, and Payet was well-marked for the game. For all the talk about Forster he was tested what, once? Could have had any keeper in there with the lack of proper shots. We really struggle when teams pack the two lines back.

Thought the red was borderline. Wanyama had just been robbed of the ball, and it was the classic case we always see of the blood rush and leap into a bad tackle. Was nowhere near the ball, and what made it look worse than what it probably was, was the high leg into the tackle. Can certainly see why the marching orders were given, no control over the tackle at all.

We deserved nowt, onto the next game.

West Ham looked poor and a shadow of what I saw of them the other week, Saints worked really hard to shut them down. But don't be daft Jamie, Payet would walk into Saints' team!

Shame Austin didn't score to silence the David's.

Definitely a show pony yesterday though.

Not seen much of West Ham this season but based on how much their fans were wanking over him before the game I was half expecting Messi to turn up.

He was poor yesterday but if you haven't seen him play earlier in the season you won't realise how good he is, when he plays well the whole team plays well and vice-versa.

Just seen the red card for the first time since seeing it in the stadium, it's a soft one and the referee is definitely influenced by the West Ham players but I can see why he's given it. Wanyama looked like he wanted to hurt Payet.

How wasn't Byram sent off? Disgusting and Bertrand was very lucky he didn't make full contact.

Wonder how Payet would react to a challenge like that?

Don't pretend Payet's actions are any different to any of your players when an opposition player would, in your words, want to hurt them. Payet is far from a bloke diving to get a player sent off.

On the basis of yesterday Forster is a bang average keeper, right? One game sweeping judgements make me laugh... Besides, even if you're wound up about Payet for some strange reason, that wasn't a show pony performance - I assume we have a completely different interpretation of the phrase.

Byram's tackle was a clear yellow, nothing more. Not sure why you're this bitter about us or our players tbh, you won the game.

Why would Forster be an average goalkeeper for saving a shot that Stek wouldn't have, collected crosses for fun and having a quiet day where shots were involved, thus another clean sheet?
