Great point but slightly frustrating that we again haven't seen out a lead late on away from home.

Considering we are beset with injuries and suspensions and had to debut a youngster second half and bring on another late on that is a great effort. Central midfielder at the back along with a right back at centre half with the goals Southend have been scoring lately to limit them to very little is credit to the character of the side.

That's the problem, we work hard but just can't see games out. Should of beat Gills, shouldn't lose to Bradford, shouldn't lose to Scunthorpe but we are just coming up short at the moment.

Well done vale expected the normal away defeat but a draw is a good solid result. We cant aford lose next week as its a really big game at home to swindon. A few more away performances like that may start to encourage a few more people like me to start going away games again.
