We go into his game hoping this won't be our last away game of the season. A point here should almost confirm a play-off place, after the second half demolishing of Walsall at the weekend.

The game won't mean much to Southend, so it might be an opportunity to field a few fringe players, although I'm sure they'll want to end their home campaign on a high.

Hanson came into the side after Proctor suffered a minor injury against Coventry. The result of that meant Hanson notched his first ever hat-trick against The Saddlers. I'm not Hanson's biggest fan, but you'd be a fool to drop him after his performance against Walsall.

Felipe Morais started alongside Hanson, and they worked pretty well - so I imagine no changes will be made up top.

GK: Ben Williams

RB: Stephen Darby
CB: Rory McArdle
CB: Reece Burke
LB: James Meredith

RM: Tony McMahon
CM: Lee Evans
CM: Lee Cullen
LW: Kyel Reid

CAM: Felipe Morais

ST: James Hanson

Predictions:

0-0 bore fest.
1,700 City in attendance.
