Can't stop laughing at the thought of Busquets waiting in the tunnel for a scrap. Clearly fabricated.

Barca win 4 - 0 against Granada courtesy of a Messi hat-trick and a Neymar strike. 'New' signings Vidal and Turan played as well and the latter assisted Messi for one of his goals.

Zidane's first game in charge of Madrid up against Deportivo. It'll be interesting to see how Madrid play compared to how they were under Benitez. But I'm looking forward to seeing Lucas Perez, who's had an outstanding season by all accounts. I just wish Zidane could be player-manager somehow.

It was visible the change of posture from Real Madrid on today's match. The team could show more danger and speed with the players in a better mood. However I still don't attribute it to Zidane (Benitez's departure has more to do with this change), I need to see more of him at Real to take a conclusion but he had a good start.

Bale gets a hat trick. Notice who the last player is to congratulate the Welshman.

Didn't they win 10-2 a few weeks ago?

Against 9 men. They were 2-1 down at 11v11. And the sendings off were dubious.

Yes, but there were some circumstances as JimJams mentioned. And despite having good results on past matches they actually weren't playing that good considering what Real Madrid playing's level can reach. What I meant about their posture had more to do with the players' motivation that seemed pretty improved with this change of command and consequently it reflected on a better playing too.

Valencia should have just waited a little longer, and hired Rafa Benitez. Probably their best option when Neville hands in his resignation.

I dunno if they'll ever get to the bottom of that tbh. It looks very complicated.

I saw the Barcelona highlights. So many good plays leading to the goals. They're top class and I can't see anyone stopping them again this year.

I saw Real's highlights too, which were also good but I was far more impressed with Barcelona. Although I do hope I'm wrong though and Atletico can take the title again.

Barcelona seemed to get stronger after the transfer embargo, maybe the same thing will happen here? :animatedf:

Bale won't be moving any time soon either then.

Gorgeous goal of Negredo from the middle field today on Valencia vs Rayo.

Yeah, that was great. Shame Valencia can't seem to find a win though. Rayo are pretty poor, but Valencia made hard work of getting the draw. Although they did have a goal wrongfully disallowed.

I wonder how it'll work out for Neville if they continue to flounder in the league but win the Copa Del Rey. Top 4 is the usual target for Valencia, that's well gone even if they put together a decent run as Villareal look really good this year. So doing naff all in the league and winning silverware wouldn't be a bad return.

They won't win the Copa del Rey though.

After the shite 'entertainment' in the PL today, at least there is Barca v Bilbao tonight, two proper football teams playing the game the right way. :D

Good start to the game, Pique almost blunders to let Bilbao in and then Barca go up the other end, Suarez goes through and gets bundled down by the goalkeeper who is sent off, and its a penalty after 3 mins, which Messi converts.

More entertainment than in the Liverpool v Manoo and Stoke v Arse matches combined! ;)
