The 30-year-old Portugal forward scored his 324th Real goal in 310 games to overtake Raul's record.

Villarreal defeat to Celta Vigo gave the lead to Real Madrid. Barcelona also with the same number of points as the leader and we're back to the Real vs Barça thing again.

And there was many time I haven't seen Neymar like yesterday. He had a genial performance against Rayo, not just for the four goals but his dribbling skills, that was what made him famous, were on point. Also he gave a nice assistance to Suarez goal. Though Barcelona's defense was tragic.

Not surprised. There has been rumours about Barca's fixture list being made tougher at season start as well so that Madrid can capitalise. That hasn't worked out though.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that things have been swayed in Barca's favour in the past either, those two clubs do hold a very privileged position at the top of Spanish football.

That's part of the reason why it was so great to see Atleti win the league a couple of seasons back.

Two lovely goals from Barca tonight courtesy of Suarez and Neymar, they really are enjoying themselves just now. Man of the match was Sergi Roberto though, the best I've seen him play by far.
