Stadium of Light- Sunderland AFC Ground Guide
How Easy Was The Ground to Get To (from the station, by car, etc)
I hate driving to the North East with all it's A roads. Never been by train, but there is a Metro station a 5 minute walk away where we used to park.
If Applicable, How is Parking Near The Ground?
As above, we used to park at the Metro station, but the traffic was obscene getting out as you had to drive back past the ground to get out of the city. Parked on an industrial estate on Wayferer Road the last few years, which is actually even more useful now away fans are in the North Stand.
Based on Where You Were Sat, How Was the View?
I hate the new away end. The old one in the South Stand was alright, but now we're up in the Gods in the North Stand, I hate it. Hate watching a game from that high up, as its like watching Subbuteo and you cant judge the angle of shots.
How Were The Stewards on The Day?
Never noticed them
If You Ate at The Ground, How Would You Rate the Food?
Pie last year was alright.
How Was The Atmosphere At The Ground, From Both Sets of Supporters? Does the Stadium Hold the Noise?
Was never that good, but seems to be even worse now we're up in the Gods.
How Are the Pubs and Local Attractions in The Local Area?
Not a lot really. Retail park and a few food vans nearby, but most of the pubs are home fans only.
Overall Score Out of 10?
Boring, horrible away end, nothing for away fans to do Disappointing.
6/10
