Certainly not the players!

Last time I was at yours, we were right in the back row. With all the posts, a very low roofline and McCarthy's long-ball football we spent much of the game in a spot-the-ball competition, wondering where the ball was going to reappear.

Didn't help that I couldn't remember where I left the car either.

I'm surprised our stadium gets such negative comments on here. Trying to take an unbiased sway on things it would def be in my top 5 in this division and most feedback I read on the net from away fans is usually positive... Forest's location is pretty special tho by the Trent in an area ooozing sporting history...we can't compete with that

Whilst the names horrific the ground itself is actually alright IMO.

All these amazing grounds with character and history.. yet nobody wants to go to them. Hence the shite crowds. Reel them off, loads of old fashioned ones left which is all good and well, they're just half empty. Nothing worse.

the IPro is fucking horrific, and the unoriginal fans inside aren't much better.

Ps Lee, it's only this and last that you had over 25k, about the time it became 3 quid to get in for a family of four.

Give me a half empty elland road, hillsborough, city ground or bramall lane any day of the week instead of a full fucking ipro stadium.

One of my favourite ever nights at the football was at Pride Park (Ipro, whatever..) so I find it hard to hate it.

Fuck you Rasiak, you diving prick.

I'll be a little gutted when we move away from GP, love that stadium, but the new ground should secure our future, and make us a lot more competitive, so it can't be a bad thing! (it also seems like it's been "coming" for 15+ years now... not sure I'll even believe it's true even when the first digger moves on site)

I eagerly anticipate the brick by brick thread.

Fair play like, each to their own. Everyone of those you mention just stinks of stagnation on match day. I'm not saying Pride Park is the place to be but it's far from horrific. Used to be a proper soul less bowl with the same run down, depressing atmosphere as the ones you mention. Now it's a soul less bowl with at least a bit of kick to it thanks to the South Stand move.

Come on mate, we've averaged above 25k 8 times out of the last 10, let's not ignore the facts.
Wish it was 3 quid, my season ticket (which has gone up for the past 2 years running) is dearer than several PL ones.

Unoriginal? You've got a facking band brav, you can't throw shit at us!

6 out of last 10 per this http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/attn.htm

Aye the band are original at least, and fucking annoying. You just seem to copy every other clubs songs.....

Same one I used, previous to this season - the last 10 would be 6. Including this season it's 7, with 24,937 being as close as you like to the 8th. The other's below 24 and 23, not dipping under a 20k league gate in well over a decade unlike a lot of bigger clubs at this level. Exact measurements aside, it's a bit better than the two season's aforementioned.

It's not only us in the copying songs industry, that's nationwide. Whilst I don't like everything our singing section come up with I can't knock the ring leaders for effort, it's much, much better than it used to be.

Derby isn't my favourite stadium in the world but as far as the 'new builds' go, it's one of the better ones.

If you're a fat bastard who gorges on fast food I think there's virtually every outlet known to man within about half a mile. If you're a fat bastard who likes lashing pints down like it's going out of fashion it's less appealing. Very much a 'take your kid to an away game' type stadium, which have a place, but wont be popular with the traditionalists.

I'll be there when we play later in the season, with my 9 year old.

I've already told you, I'm a c***, one day, when you grow up you may see one of those, unless you're gay which is "cool".

Derby stinks of trying too hard. Like Palace and Accrington and Leicester, they see something happening in Europe and try and replicate it over here. I always think that's a bad thing, as we invented terrace culture and now we're the ones copying.

I couldn't argue that the noise levels are good at the iPRO when it gets going, but it's the type of ultra chant that just makes me cringe. They even had some weird flag waving thing before kick-off, and I'm sure we were pretty close to foam fingers.

Can't fault their attendances though. Stand up better than Forest, Leeds, Wednesday and Wolves.

The IPRO is a cool ground and the only one in this division to regularly hit 29 plus attendances ...

Crowds means atmosphere .. means ambience... means over time character ...:hesk:
