This game has been moved to Friday night due to the(comedy gold) sheep being at home Saturday !
Albion look likely to be at full strength and will most probably have the same starting eleven as against Bradford last week. The game earlier in the season at the Proact seems a long time ago, we won with a deserved last minute winner but Chesterfield have changed a lot since then, no more Dean Saunders which I'm sure Spireites are delighted about.
Not sure what to expect from Chesterfield but if we play anything like we did in the last half hour against Bradford City then I would think we will have enough about us to get the 3 points.
Taking nothing for granted though.
Bit of a pain with no game Saturday as "er indoors" may expect a few jobs doing seeing as she's off too! Hopefully she goes shopping as she knows I don't do shops and I will be left with a peaceful day.
Hope you Spireites have a safe journey to and from Staffordshire but that you are not too happy on returning to Derbyshire !

Stop using our stewards then. Then your game wouldn't get moved!

Exactly. It's extremely small time.
Despite Burton's rise Derby are still the best supported side in that bit of East Staffordshire.

Aye, I can't believe they still do. Made sense when they were non-league.

Albion do have some of there own stewards but not enough of their own yet but I do take the point that the situation needs addressing.

Have a feeling there will be a decent turnout tonight with around a 1000 from Chesterfield we should have a good atmosphere.

1200ish I should think. If it had been tomorrow, even accounting for us being shite, it would have been close to selling out as we've often done there.

I fully expect a defeat and won't have the comfort of being pissed to numb the pain.

Yes the Spireites always bring good numbers to the Pirelli and create a good atmosphere. Appreciate the club aren't doing well and its a Friday night. Looking on Bob's board most fans seem pessimistic of your chances. Albion though and the fans are full of confidence and optimistic of 3 points.
Hoping for a crowd of around 4,500 to 5,000 which isn't bad by our standards !

I don't think we'll come close to scoring let alone winning. It will take an unlikely set of circumstances for us to have a chance - not least some of our 'better' players (whoever they are now) influencing the game. We're threadbare all over the pitch thanks to a variety of twats at the club.

The last time I was stone cold sober at your place was for that FA Cup game when we sold out and had more than half the crowd.

I was ill, shivered like a bastard on my own and was back in Derbyshire before the game had even finished.

Yeah for a Friday night and considering how crap we are we could well have 1300+ there I reckon. Just hope I can get out of work in time to make it.

Considering how you are doing that's great support, hope you are able to make it ! There are road works around the Pirelli so if you're running late park up on the northern side as you approach, near the Beech boozer.
I remember that FA Cup game, absolutely freezing !

We were absolutely awful tonight, kept our shape and knicked a goal. Chesterfield created about as much as us which amounted to virtually nothing. Poor game which we were fortunate to grind out another victory.

We were very bad. Appalling again, not creativity and inability to keep a clean sheet. Crewe and Colchester up next, if we lose either of those I think we're down.

Reckon we need 5 wins maybe 6 to stay up, can't see where the next is coming from let alone that many. The board have a lot to answer for, you reap what you sow and it's only a matter of time before people turn against them for getting us into this mess. Club don't deserve the support from the fans they've been getting
