Think it's on Eurosport? Not sure as I'm out of the UK right now.
Aye, a few draws. We apparently had the better chances in our game too, should've opened with a win, although taking a point form Zambia is nowt to be sniffed at.
Goalless at half-time between Algeria and South Africa. Only caught the last 5 minutes and South Africa have looked the better team forcing the goalkeeper into two good saves.
Cmon Bafanas! You can do this! Algeria and Ghana to get knocked out in the group stage must be on good odds.
Fantastic second half. By far the best African game I've ever seen. SA scored early on in the second half and then missed a penalty. Algerian goalie (the same one who played at the World Cup) pulled off some great saves to avoid the 2-0. Algeria equalised via an own goal and then showed great character to score two other goals (SA goalie not great on both tbh). Algeria looked really like their backs to the wall but ended up comfortable winners. Kudos.
Group C really is fascinating. Next up is Ghana vs Algeria. Watched both teams today and I can't see Ghana doing anything in there. Would be massive to see them out in the group stage. South Africa vs Senegal will also be great to watch.
Terrible first half by Ivory Coast who trail 0-1 to Guinea at half-time. Just like Ghana yesterday, the favourites seem to expect a goal to come out of thin air. Guinea are much more up for it.
Finished 1-1. Gervinho got sent off for a stupid reaction but Doumbia who came on as a sub equalised on a good build-up play by Bony. Reckon Ivory Coast will be very happy with that.
Half-time between Equatorial Guinea and Burkina Faso. 0-0 but not a bad game to watch. BF with the most chances. Should beat the hosts who look a more feeble opposition.
Cameroon vs Guinea finished 1-1. All games finished 1-1 in Group D. If both games finish 1-1 on Wednesday, the qualified teams will be determined via a coin toss!
On last night's game, Cameroon really look unispiring. A shame really when you have in your ranks qualify players like Nkoulou, Chedjou, Bedimo, Mbia, Choupo-Moting. They are just lacking ideas to create chances. Their goal was a fluke corner really while Guinea's equaliser was good long-range shot by Ibrahima Traoré. I really felt that if Guinea were more ambitious in getting a win they would have won last night. They had the best chances in a lacklustre second half and the defence was solid. I really hope they progress.
Today sees the last matchday of Group A (thank fuck for that!) and Equatorial Guinea need to beat Gabon to progress. Burkina Faso are almost out of the competition. They have to hope that EG and Gabon draw and that they beat Congo by a solid 3 goals! Give that they can't score for shit I can't see this happening.
