We went 442 at half time, and wow. Look what we did.

Better from start to finish today, Hartlepool tried but just weren't on the same level.

It wasn't a bad game despite the freezing temperatures. Pools don't look a bad side to be honest and created a flurry of early chances before our defence got well on top. Second half there was only going to be one winner and his goals will hopefully give Greeny a confidence boost. Top finish from Adi too.

On that showing I'd expect to see Pools pull easily away from those bottom places.

Got to say in the grand scheme of things how thrilled I am about today's result - I still fail to see what westcarr brings to the table - but that's an argument for another time.

We needed a win today, otherwise a downwards spiral of both spirit and league standing would have followed, and we applied a controlled performance that was both easy on the eye and ensured we controlled the match bar a dodgy deflection for their equaliser and a 10 minute showing in the first half.

Nathan thomas provided what was the best game by a winger in qualify of passes and effort since the day of corden, and yousif is just wow. That lad has such potential it's untrue.

The only downside was the randomness of the referee and his officials who were odd in their decisions for both sides and showed little to no consistency in their decisions.

Am thrilled that I begged for 442 (though not at the start) and it easily showed the way forward we should play

I'd say Green or Westcarr are Bingham's replacement, Yussuf took Palmer's role as the non-league gamble. Cox put all his hopes into Bingham being our top scorer and well...

No argument about the result,we looked ok in patch's but are pretty toothless up front.
We knew we'd struggle not having a proper right back & your winger had field day against Harrison,putting some great crosses in.
I hope Moore takes note & stops persisting with right footed wingers on the left & vice versa.
