Need to be picking 3 more points up here with 2 away games at Oxford and Plymouth to follow. It probably won't be easy mind. Despite McGuire and Beardsley being 2 of the best players in our last 2 games returning infront of the home crowd and both of those will get slaughtered for one misplaced pass.

Not sure what we will do up top. With no Green you'd have Yusseff down as his replacement but he will be blowing out of his Arse on 45. Says something when big Matt Rhead was fitter.

That ref was diabolical, i agree with the first peno but not the second. I've been very critical all season of Shearer but he really stepped up today. Good win.

How can you have been critical of Shearer 'all season' when he hasn't played between the first week of the season until the end of January?

Was he not quite sitting on the bench in the right manner?

By that I mean everytime I have seen him play he has been frankly average and flapping at everything.
