Good luck to everyone who can isolate. I work for Sainsbury's so it's business as usual. Having taken a paid week off as my son's boss went down with the virus, I was back last night.
My stewarding training was much needed controlling how many people entered the store. Once they were in, anything goes. Argh!
Well done to you in helping to keep the world turning, my Wife works in Funeral Care so still at work and struggling to keep social distancing. Some people forget and some are just blatantly stupid.
it's been a while since i felt the urge,
to express my feelings as death tolls surge.
people are dying while in insulation,
across the world...not just in our nation.
things here are in an awful mess,
but lets thank those wonderful heroes in the NHS.
key workers and others in that fraternity,
are just as important in these times of uncertainty.
we've seen the heartbreaking news bringing us to tears,
relatives and friends stuck alone with their concerns and fears.
if history has taught us well,
our faith will help us escape this vision of hell.
with the help of the front line staff in every hospital,
lets keep positive,cause anythings possible.
i hope if anyone we loved gets ill later,
they all get their much needed life preserving ventilator.
to all my friends current and old,
stay indoors and do as your'e told!
