So I've never played half life 2 before and considering it's one of the best games out it had 75% off for a mere £1.74, fantastic deal.

Looking around for other stuff too, Cas kindly recommended bastion which has a demo so I need to try that and if it's good I'll buy it.

Just went and bought Hotline Miami 2 whilst it was on sale.

Hopefully Shovel Knight will get a discount at some point.

Tomb Raider is well worth 3 bar chaps, despite the QTE's.

I want Trine 3 'cause Trine games are great. It's early Acces though :(

Just bought game dev tycoon for 33% off, if you don't know what it is you can make games within a game, cool cool.

15K reviews and the overall score is overwhelmingly positive.

Spent the best part of £30 last night on Prison Architect, The Wolf Among Us, I Am Alive, Dead Rising 2: Off The Record, Fahrenheit remaster and Postal 2: Paradise Lost DLC.

Final Fantasy VII & VIII and Child of Light are tempting me also. Anyone played the latter before?

Bought Transistor. Had my eye on it for a while. It's made by the same people who did Bastion, which was excellent.

Bought two more games today...

Bastion because I've heard a lot of good things about it. In fact, I played a demo of it eons ago when it came out and really liked it, but somehow never got around to getting the full game.

And South Park: The Stick of Truth. Gonna be a while until I play it because I'm currently only on season 5, but couldn't say no at £8.15.

I would hold off Stick of Truth until you've watched a bit more of the series. A lot of jokes in the game reference jokes in episodes.

Yeah, I am planning to wait until I'm caught up to make the most of the jokes/references when I finally do play it. Just need to hope that the game doesn't get even cheaper between now and that point...

Damn it isn't actually £13, the DLC was £13 and the game is still £35. No way am I buying that.

Bought Verdun though, that game looks awesome.

Bought verdun in last sale looks really good. still not played it yet... too many games.

Tropico 5 is a good game. preferred 3 and 4 but 5 is good too. can buy it from here for a tenner http://www.kinguin.net/category/6605/tropico-5-steam-key/ Have bought a fair few games from Kinguin never had any issues

Everyone should buy Awesomenauts for 69p. Absolutely brilliant game if you're in to MOBAs or platformers.

Also if you're a fan of tower defence similar to the likes of Orcs Must Die or Sanctum then Dungeon Defenders 1 is only 99p and worth a look at.

I bought Euro Truck Simulator 2 yesterday.

Yup.

And Age of Empires II HD today, because I used to fucking love that game.

I've never really played games on my laptop, mostly because I've been put off by having to use a keyboard and mouse rather than a controller, but it sounds like I'm missing out on a whole world of gaming.

Is it easy to convert from a controller to a keyboard and mouse? And if so, is it worth it?

If you are ever up for playing AOE 2 online give me a shout, it is great fun. On Christmas Eve, when my brothers were home we sat up till 4 in the morning just playing each other on AOE, brings back some great memories.

Keyboard and mouse is much better for most game types but for driving or football games I just plug my xbox controller into my pc so you can mix and match.

Cracking little game.

Bought Lego Marvel earlier. Only my third purchase of the Summer Sale which is pretty poor. Combination of having most of the games that have gone on sale and generally shit choices. Too much Early Access as well.

Bought The Wolf Among Us. Not sure if it's my kinda thing but it was cheap enough to take a chance on.

Also, fuck Banished. Such a frustrating game.

We need a Command & Conquer Generals 2... And not that rubbish free version they were going to release. A true sequel to the first. Generals: Zero Hour is still the best RTS out there IMO.
