The statement on the Mansfield website pretty much states Evans is staying plus you have signed 3 players today so I think we'll be looking elsewhere.

I wouldn't be surprised as a Mansfield fan if Evans flashed the cash, signed players on big/long deals, and if it wasn't working come half way through the season jump ship at the first job available leaving Mansfield in a tangle. He's that type of guy

I don't think that makes a difference as to whether Evans is here or not. I trust Radford not to over spend, or put us in jepordy. As mentioned before, the players we've signed don't strike me as being on massive wages. Plus our budget has been pretty decent last few seasons since we've been back in the league, it's just that Cox & Murray wasted it.

We had one of the lowest budgets in the division in our second season back, which nearly got us relegated, I imagine Murray had a comfortable mid-table budget last season though and the first season back in the FL pre-Christmas it was top 3 but slashed hugely afterwards.

Mansfield fans aren't naive and they knew the deal when evans arrived, yes he's a knob, but he's a good manager.

His antics over the last week has disappointed me though, part of me hoped that he was part of a "project" but in essence he's like mourinho (0bv not as famous or good) like he'll be around for a while, have a good time and a party then 2/3 seasons something will happen and you part ways.
