Coming from Coventry, would Graham Alexander be interested in this?

Bloody hell, the 2 managers that have deserved the sack for the majority of the season gone in the same week! A lot of happy Coventry fans now then.

Who do you guys want to take over?

It was the right move in the end.

Loved the guy on a personal level, whenever I spoke to him he seemed a great bloke, and he obviously loves the club. Kept us up in our worst season in history, which should be credited.

Hockaday is favourite and probably will get the job.
Di Canio third favourite is funny, not a chance in hell would he come here!

He had to go, so thank the Lord sisu have taken five minutes out from preparing for their next court case against the council to actually make a footballing decision.
Hockaday is already there so I think will get it for rest of season and more importantly is the cheapest option.

Hope new manager syndrome kicks in now, knowing Cov it won't and we will still get relegated.

Please no to Ferguson, except if it's Sir Alex who fancies another go

I think if that happens you'll go down, reminds me a bit of the appointment of Andy Thorn (although having said that, I wasn't aware he kept you up in the first season!)

You lot, realistically, could do worse than Gary Johnson, turned sinking ships around at City and Yeovil in his time there before giving them a bit of success.

This. Think he'd be a great fit. Though he's never really been one for bringing youth through so not sure how that'll go for your squad

Giving Pressley a 4 year contract (wasn't it?) is surely up there with the inflatable dart board of decisions isn't it?

Worried this is too late and the new manager won't have enough time to save us from going down.

Really hope Hockaday doesn't get it, an awful manager and I would fear for Coventry if he was in charge.

The club are claiming we have a budget close to the top 6. Pressley truly fucked up this season.

Not surprised, he's done a pretty awful job just recently. Even with the entire SISU thing going on, the Coventry squad isn't a bottom 4 one.

Playing budget of 2.5 million, so Pressley really fucked up. Some of his signings were pub players at best.

Give that budget to a proven manager and we will finally find some success, but has this decision come too late to save us this season.

Mark Cooper is now the 36th longest-serving manager of the 92. Bonkers.
