We could have killed off the game but our players became too tired to continue and as a result we let them come back in to draw the game.

Jodi Jones seems to be injured and could be out for a couple of months, and because he is our main goalscoring threat you can probably say goodbye to our promotion campaign if he is out for a couple of months.

We are in serious trouble if Jones is out for considerable time. When he went off last night we were a shambles. Going forward he and Duck are all we have.

Agreed he was a real threat on the counter after we went 1 up, once he got injured Stevenage knew we weren't a real threat going forward so they attacked with more purpose and we couldn't deal with it. We had no outlet.

Wouldn't write off our season but if he's out for any longer than a month we will start to struggle, especially against the better teams.

Given our form I'm pleased to get a point from a game where I didn't expect anything. More pleasing the performance was much improved over recent weeks,we actually looked like we gave a toss, especially 2nd half. We'll see if that was just a flash in the pan or we have actually turned a corner.
The last 6 weeks or so have been relegation form.

Just your supporters. Even John Fenty said banned items were being smuggled into grounds in women's underwear, with kids etc and given the amount of trouble involving your fans it's hardly surprising if the club took more thorough search measures, although if true sounds incredibly OTT on the clubs part.

I'm guessing someone your end (police or club) has advised the club of issues and either the club or the stewards themselves have decided the OTT searches were the way forward. As far as I'm aware these types of searches have never been carried before or since so I conclude it was a special treatment reserved for yourselves.

GTFC fish. Went to Stevenage a few weeks ago and the same stewards who were deliberately antagonistic for many seasons were on a complete charm offensive telling anyone who would listen how bad Grimsby fans were they seem to be convincing anyone who hadn't been to the lamex before. Those who had all reminded them of problems Notts fans have had there in previous seasons and promptly called bullshit.
